- Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers named two changes to the Celts side that was eliminated from the Champions League with a 2-0 defeat to Lazio in Rome, before they bounced back at the weekend with a 3-1 win in Perth against St Johnstone.
- David Turnbull took Paulo Bernardo's spot in midfield, as he joined club captain Callum McGregor and Matt O'Riley who both scored on Sunday to turn the game on its head against Saints.
- James Forrest sealed the deal at McDiarmid Park, but did so after coming off the substitutes bench, as Luis Palma took his spot in the starting eleven. Mikey Johnston impressed off the bench, so may be given an opportunity here.
- Hibs boss Nick Montgomery named two changes to the Hibernian team that beat Dundee 2-1 at Dens Park, before they claimed a third successive league victory with a 2-0 win against Aberdeen at Easter Road on Sunday afternoon.
- Lewis Miller netted what proved the winning goal against Dundee, shortly before he was sent off at Dens Park last Saturday. Rory Whittaker, the Hibees' youngest ever player, took his spot at right-back at the weekend.
- The other alteration came on the other side as Lewis Stevenson took Jordan Obita's spot. Dylan Vente fired the hosts in front at the weekend, with strike partner Martin Boyle assisting both him and Will Fish.
