Aberdeen
- Stephen Robinson named an unchanged St Mirren side after they beat Dundee 2-1 in Paisley in their last Scottish Premiership match, before they booked their spot in the Scottish League Cup quarter-final thanks to a 1-0 win against Motherwell.
- Mark O'Hara - who fired the Buddies ahead at Easter Road - was replaced in the starting eleven by Caolan Boyd-Munce, who netter the winner against Motherwell last weekend and book a quarter-final tie against Hibernian in Edinburgh.
- Toyosi Olusanya - who put the Buddies two to the good in their league opener in the capital - was replaced by Mikael Mandron. The former Motherwell striker scored what proved to be the winner against Dundee in their last league game.
- Barry Robson named an unchanged Aberdeen team after the Dons' 2-1 victory over Striling Albion in the Scottish League Cup round of 16, before a phenomenal fightback saw them claim a 2-2 draw with BK Häcken in Sweden in midweek.
- New signings Richard Jensen, Jamie McGrath and James McGarry were all on the bench for the first leg of their Europa League playoff encounter in Gothenburg, with the tie evenly poised at Pittodrie next week.
- The Dons' only absentee of note is Liverpool loanee Rhys Williams who is out with a back injury. Other than the 22-year-old Englishman, Aberdeen should have a fully fit squad to select from in Paisley.
