Team News

Osasuna
Real Madrid
  • David Garcia and Aimar Oroz are both unavailable to host Real Madrid on Saturday and will likely be sidelined for another week at least.
  • Raul Garcia could come in for the injured Oroz, pushing Ruben Garcia out to the left side of attack.
  • Jude Bellingham will serve another match suspended after watching from the stands with his mother at the Bernabeu last weekend.
  • Other than Real's long-term injury concerns, they have a mostly fully-fit side to face Osasuna in Pamplona on Saturday.
  • Nacho played against Celta last Sunday and kept a clean sheet at centre-back. He could feature with Antonio Rudiger this weekend.

Prediction

  • Osasuna welcome Real Madrid to Pamplona on Saturday afternoon having failed to gain anything from the match against Real's fellow title challengers Girona on Sunday night. Real sit top of the table by seven points and are comfortable leaders, while Osasuna could overtake Las Palmas in ninth place with an unlikely home victory here. The hosts last defeated Real back in 2011.
  • The reverse fixture ended 4-0 to Real at the Bernabeu, with Bellingham scoring two goals. He, of course, will be unavailable this weekend as he serves his controversial suspension on the sidelines. Brahim Diaz, who this week declared his international allegiance to Morocco, has done a good job of filling in for the absent Bellingham when called upon to start.
  • Despite Osasuna having lost only once in the last five matches, Real should manage to get over the line here without too much jeopardy.
