Team News

Real Betis
Almeria
  • Isco returns from his suspension and will be available in the 10 role again this weekend - no doubt he will start.
  • Sokratis may have to fill in for German Pezzella, who has suffered a back injury.
  • Abner could fill in for Juan Miranda, who suffered a head injury against Osasuna.
  • Largie Ramazani remains suspended whilst Cesar Montes joins him through suspension having picked up his fifth yellow of the season in the victory over Rayo.
  • Jonathan Viera and Lucas Robertone return to the squad and will bolster Almeria's ranks as they search for their first back to back wins of the season.

Prediction

  • An injury struck Real Betis welcome a relegated Almeria side to the Benito Villamarin on Sunday night in their late goal to usurp Sociedad and take the second Europa League spot behind Athletic Club. The reverse fixture between these two ended 0-0 back in December but that result doesn't represent the ease of opportunity for Betis this weekend, especially since Sociedad face Barca on Monday night.
  • Almeria are down and are only playing for pride - were they to record an unlikely victory on the road, they would have earned their first back to back victories of the season.
  • With Isco returning this weekend, Betis should be able to grind out a result despite their depleted numbers.
