Team News

Atletico
Osasuna
  • No new injuries to report for Atleti - they have secured Champions League qualification for next season and therefore could make some changes in their last two remaining games.
  • Angel Correa and Antoine Griezmann seem to be the preferred pairing up top, though Alvaro Morata and Memphis Depay are fit despite having not started any matches recently.
  • Aimar Oroz returned against Mallorca but failed to make an impact in the match which ended in a draw. He and Moi Gomez will battle for a place this weekend.
  • Pablo Ibanez returns from suspension, and more importantly for Jagoba Arrasate, Ante Budimir was an unused substitute against Mallorca and should start on Sunday.

Prediction

  • Atletico Madrid look for their second consecutive victory in Madrid after beating neighbours Getafe 3-0 at the Estadio Coliseum - they face Osasuna who travel from Pamplona on Sunday afternoon. Atleti have been suspect at times on the road this season, but beat Osasuna 2-0 at their place back in September.
  • Simeone's men have won four on the spin whilst Osasuna are winless in five. Easy one to predict here, Atleti should take the points whilst Osasuna cling to their hopes of finishing in the top half of the table come next weekend.
