@Marbella City were outplayed today, just like Spurs were outplay d against City in the 1st half last match. Don't get your comment. From the other side Pep was never dominated like that. Even with so called 2nd squad somewhere in the League Cup, etc.
Our fullbacks won't cross, wingers apart doku won't cross or try to attack, no through balls with out kdb n gundo.. no substitution.. haaland is the only hope without support.. City right now is hopeless.. just pass accuracy or possession won't win games
@Mdy exactly...gone are the days when Walker will overlap and cross....Doku, played last match like Grealish...run up, pull short and pass backwards...the team has zero urgency...(think of that Haaland's fouled through ball for Grealish...I'm sure Haland would love those 8-10 times per half...)...no KDB = no ideas...hope he gets back before the team is too far down the table...
@Marbella lol...Phillips can't get a game...hahaha....Pep starts 2 defenders in midfield instead of using 2 of 3 actual midfielders...maybe Ake and Gomez gets in before them even... :p
It would be quite remarkable for Villa to get something out of the game and extend City’s form to 4 without a win in the league, but they are certainly capable of it. Finally, more teams understand that City are and have never been invulnerable, you just have to be willing to take risks to hit them.
City will draw or lose if they persist with their "pull short and pass backward", "hold ball to wait till opponent reorganise and get 10 men behind the ball before crossing", "play fancy passes in their own penalty area with many opposite players around" style of play...Since KDB is side-lined, they have almost no creativity, no urgency and little attacking intent...mostly dependant on opponent players to make mistakes for goals....Pep must realise this style only worked well when he had Messi, Iniesta and Xavi to unlock tight defences for Messi, Neymar and Suarez to latch onto,,, here, they seldom even let Haaland run clear preferring to pass oppositions to death...alarmingly, Doku is starting to play like Grealish....sigh...Villa 2 counter attack goals vs ?? (depending on who shows up with some grit...)
Just backed Villa @ 4.00 odds
22-2 shots in favor of Villa, we definitly dont see this often wow well done
Based on the first half Man City have no chance at all.The bubble has burst after the Spurs game and now this dismal game at Villa Park.
@Marbella I'd say the bubble burst at the Chelsea match mate...2 shots vs Villa's 13...it's rather sad actually...

TAKE A BOW, UNAI EMERY!!!
I honestly think if there's an upset tonight it's villa winning and btts. 13/2 might be a tidy punt. But it is a punt.

Guardiola has managed top-flight clubs for fourteen-and-a-half seasons but has never seen one of his teams take just two shots .
Cannot wait for Peps excuses.
As I said at the weekend, teams simply have to be willing to take risks to make City a very beatable team.
@sarigginsUSA It's true. City don't like chaos. They're too used to most teams playing against them cautiously and allowing them the initiative.
Manchester City have no chance of winning 1-0 or0-0
@Best1361 City still keep passing it back like they are winning 4-0...lol
Man City terrible so far.
Ederson, Walker (C), Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol, Stones, Lewis, Foden, Bernardo, Alvarez, Haaland SUBS | Ortega Moreno, Carson, Phillips, Ake, Kovacic, Gomez, Nunes, Bobb
@Marbella lol...Phillips can't get a game...hahaha....Pep starts 2 defenders in midfield instead of using 2 of 3 actual midfielders...maybe Ake and Gomez gets in before them even... :p
city without rodri is critical, villa can look for a draw
@Jaffe148 my thoughts exactly , and no Grealish either
@Jaffe148 I came here to post a similar comment.
Villa could cause an upset here.
Treble winners trying their hand at comedy football...
3-1. Villa are strong and home and city are on the ropes
Doku was forced off during the draw against Tottenham and will have a late fitness check.
4 of Aston Villas last 6 premier league games have featured over 3.5 goals.

Pep wanted 1-0, but got 0-1. Should have been more. United just 3 points behind lol
probably late win 1-2
2-4 :)

@AramisMick well, he won five times PL playing his style. So apparently it works without Messi, Xavi or Iniesta.
2-2
