  • The red card is subjective. But offsides are a matter of fact. Luis Diaz was onside, by a long way. VAR didn't even bother to draw the lines because they knew their decision was corrupt. An investigation is needed after the game.

  • Jones red card, harsh. Jota red card, an utter joke. He didn't even touch the Spur player for the first yellow, the Spurs player tripped over his own feet. Gomez not being given a penalty when he clearly won the ball and got clattered into, completely disgraceful. VAR didn't even check it cos they're that corrupt. Luis Diaz having his goal disallowed when the lines showed he was at least 30cm onside. Complete an utter cheating. This game cannot be swept under the rug as "bad decisions" or "human error". An investigation needs to be launched into that Diaz offside call which is just factually incorrect. Consequences need to be handed out for this!

  • @Nico1 Let's say you're right and there is *some* agenda. I'd wager the agenda isn't in favour of Tottenham or against Liverpool, but in favour of City.

  • if 11 vs. 11 Liverpool would have won easily, even 10 vs 11 they would have like 45% chance. Cant wait for the reverse fixture, will be a rout.

  • @koziol.mutant it is because liverpool cannot handle Tottenham players so they foul them. Fair play, fair result today

  • That was the worst half of VAR officiating I can remember seeing.

  • The referees have ADMITTED that the offside call on Luis Diaz was wrong. Offsides are FACTUAL decisons, so how was it wrong? Cheating and corruption is the only explanation!

  • @Nico1 Have they really?

  • fair play today, Tottenham outplayed Liverpool if not some great saves from Alisson, it will be worse

  • @Jaffe148 If not for the two red cards, you mean.

  • There is actually an anti Liverpool bias in this league

  • Over 2.5 goals

  • @Marbella Again goals never in doubt -)

  • Here we go again, last week arsenal thought they would smash tottenham, this week liverpool. Let's wait and see. It'll be entertaining

  • VAR an utter disgrace, clearly onside not even close. On balance though 2 red cards justified. Liverpool's displine this season is terrible.

  • Don't know why so many people are dismissing how well Tottenham played. They had at least double the shots, possession and tackles that Liverpool had. If anything, Liverpool was lucky they didn't get blown out. Tottenham looks much improved this season.

  • @nizzle Before the Curtis Jones sending off it was 7 shots to 1 in Liverpools favour. Spurs only looked good cos they were playing at home against 9 men (plus they had the ref on side).

  • @Nico1 lol no, those long shots mean nothing, with spurs actually create better chances

  • @wdetac did you watch the game? With ten men Liverpool was still the better side the commentators on my stream were discussing about why it can be difficult to play against ten men. And they did score the first goal that gets wrongly disallowed.

  • @Matjan I did. Because they parked the bus good and it is harder to play offense against a well parked bus than the normal gegenpress where they are lots of space to exploit. If you like that bus parking approach, consider recruit Jose Mourinho. Tottenham was considered the underdog before the season and every big games and they played better than people have expected. I really hate the officiating because now nobody appreciate how well both teams played.

  • The referees officiating this match should never be allowed to participate in any future games ever...in any capacity. This was an utter embarrassment...

  • @moo13 The Referee and VAR officials should be ban for life.

  • This fixture almost always includes goals and both teams are scoring a lot of goals this season. However, both teams have started some games slowly so don't be surprised if it's still 0-0 after 30 minutes. Liverpool are in form and have a very good record against Tottenham so they are obviously favourites if they can take their chances. However, I'm expecting at least one very good save from Viccario (rather than 4 goals from 4 shots on target like last season's away fixture). The battle for the ball may come down to Bissouma and Jones midfield. Bentancur, Johnson, and Perisic would have been useful players for Tottenham to have available. Salah to score for Liverpool and Son to score for Tottenham. Hopefully, Tottenham to sneak a draw. Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool

  • Sarr, Maddison, and Bissouma Vs Szoboszlai, Jones, and Allister

  • I'd avoid betting on winners here. Better focus on goals, card, corners. Both teams are on a run at the moment so better paly it safe

  • Ange ball's first serious test ;)

  • @MEHJones Not very subtle dig at the Gunners. And not very funny. :-)

  • @Sputnik So is your comment a subtle dig at Manchester United? :)

  • @MEHJones Yes.

  • Has the EPL said anything or even released the images on their decision ? I am still confused as to why broadcasters were not given the images as is usually the case. I thought I heard NBC say something to the tune of the images were no longer being released but couldn’t find any validity to the statement, so I might have heard incorrectly.

  • i watched almost all games last 6 years .. a lot of time i said that ref is taking money (just for breaking the flow of the game nothing too big) but nobody did half what this as*** did and the worst part is i think he's not taking any money for it .. he's just bad at doing his job , clear goal 2 red card

  • Matip helped Tottenham lol

  • clear faul on Kulusevski and no penal, not even video check lol

  • @koziol.mutant I hope this is a joke.

  • Tottenham looks happy with a draw, what a shyt league, lol

  • Liverpool have scored 21 goals in their last 7 EPL away games.

  • from the performance, lets admit liverpool is getting outclassed by tottenham may that offside goal matter, it will not change much, it just letting some salty ppt a point to complain

  • @wdetac Are you able to count to 9....

  • crooked-nosed players today are not in the mood to score. Mount, Richarlison

  • 1-2

  • 2-2 or 2-3, surely a cracker to watch

  • Ange ball masterclass incoming 2-0 spurs

  • 4-1 liverpool

  • 3-1 Liverpool
