Team News

Brighton
West Ham
  • Julio Enciso joins Jakub Moder on the sidelines having been forced off in the second half at Wolves.
  • Joao Pedro is expected to come into the XI behind striker Danny Welbeck in Roberto De Zerbi's favoured 4-2-3-1 system.
  • Nayef Aguerd is suspended following his second half dismissal against Chelsea last weekend, with Angelo Ogbonna expected to deputise at the heart of the defence.
  • James Ward-Prowse impressed on his debut in the win over the Blues and should keep his spot, but Edson Alvarez will have to wait for a first start.

Prediction

  • Brighton have made a superb start to the season, beating Luton and Wolves 4-1. This is perhaps their toughest test so far, but the Seagulls have won their last two home league meetings with the Hammers comfortably.
  • West Ham impressed to beat Chelsea 3-1 last week and have picked up four points from their opening two matches. They have a poor record against Brighton having failed to win 12 meetings between the pair.
  • Brighton have been superb in the opening two games, and should make it three wins from three on Saturday.
