- Andoni Iraola has a fair few injury concerns for his first game as Bournemouth boss, with Marcus Tavernier, Antoine Semenyo, Lloyd Kelly and Ryan Fredericks all out, while new signing Alex Scott is also absent.
- Adam Smith, Ryan Christian and Dominic Solanke will be assessed, though the latter duo should be fit to feature in some capacity.
- Romain Favre, Justin Kluivert and Ionut Radu will have to wait to make their debuts, but Milos Kerkez should start at left-back.
- Lucas Paqueta, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, is a doubt, but should be fine to feature from the outset should be still be a West Ham player by the time this comes around.
- The Hammers have signed Edson Alvarez to replace Declan Rice, but Saturday's game may come too soon for the Mexican, so Flynn Downes is expected to partner Tomas Soucek in the middle of the park.
- James Ward-Prowse and Harry Maguire are both close to becoming West Ham players.
