Team News

Besiktas
Konyaspor
  • Umut Meras will start at left-back as Arthur Masuaku is suspended.
  • Omar Colley has served his suspension and will return to the starting XI. Romain Saiss is carrying a minor knock though so Welinton is likely to partner Colley at the back.
  • Nathan Redmond wasn't included in the squad that faced Kasimpasa last time out due to a minor injury. He will be assessed and if deemed unfit, Jackson Muleka will deputise.
  • Onur Bulut is also sidelined with injury. Alexandru Maxim, who also wasn't expected to start, is also a doubt.
  • Tayyip Sanuc and Ersin Destanoglu are also unavailable as the former is injured and latter had an appendectomy.
  • Ugurcan Yazgili is expected to deputise for the suspended Francisco Calvo.
  • Endri Cekici and Muhammet Demir, neither of whom were expected to start here, are sidelined with injury.
  • Uche Ikpeazu has returned to training but is far from being match-fit.

Prediction

  • Besiktas demolished Kasimpasa 5-2 last time out. Despite missing key names such as Colley and Redmond, the Black Eagles were in full control and deserved their win. Gunes has managed to turn things around and Besiktas had a great second half of the season, especially after Aboubakar's arrival. They will dominate the game here and finish the season on a high.
  • Konyaspor shared points with Karagumruk in a 1-1 draw last time out. As expected they created and conceded a plethora of chances and draw was the fair result. Stanojevic has proven his worth since his arrival and managed to even win over the fans who for a long time remained furious at the sacking of Palut.
  • Stanojevic will not be parking the bus so this might end up being one of the most entertaining games of the closing weekend.
