Chelsea
Leicester
- Thomas Tuchel will consider changes from the side that lost to Leicester in Saturday's FA Cup final.
- Edouard Mendy, Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic could all return to the starting XI here.
- Timo Werner could drop out of the side on Tuesday after a really poor display at Wembley.
- Reece James played as a third centre-back at Wembley, with Cesar Azpilicueta at wing-back, and we could see a repeat of that here up against Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho.
- Thiago Silva has racked up a lot of minutes in quick succession but Chelsea simply have to win this one so it's likely he will be rested on the last day of the season.
- After a large spell on the sidelines, Mateo Kovacic may only make the bench on Tuesday.
- Jonny Evans is unlikely to play in either of Leicester's last two games of the season after coming off injured in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
- James Maddison should replace Ayoze Perez in the starting line-up on Tuesday, with Marc Albrighton also pushing to start.
- Luke Thomas is enjoying a fine run in the side and that looks set to continue here unless Brendan Rodgers tinkers at the back.
- Wes Morgan came off the bench on Saturday to make his first appearance since December but that will be his last for the club.
Disrespect our flag now, won't ya?
Timo is a joke
It's funny that Mount got the man of the match, yeah he was good but Rudiger was fantastic.
@Youzarix Rudinho
RUDI THE BEAST
Why does everyone keep fouling Werner in the penalty box. Just let him miss. Only Man Utd got more pens this season
@alx30 Hahahaha! I'm a Chelsea fan, but I have to agree xD
Mike Dean is the worst referee on the planet. Bald attention seeking fraud
If I was Chelsea, I would get rid of Kepa and Werner as soon as possible. Would sell them very cheap, and if not possible just terminate their contracts during the next transfer window.
It doesn't matter who would have had the penalty, but someone should clarify the rules. Everyone (except the officials) says this was a penalty, while it was clearly not an intentional foul by Tielemans. He tried to kick the ball away and wasn't aware that Werner was behind him. He only kicked Werner instead, because Werner put his foot between Tielemans' leg and the ball right before he hit it. The rules about handball are totally different. If it's not intentional handball, no way the opponent will get the penalty. Why is that different (or would have been different with different refs) for situations like this?
@Maarten why would anyone intentionally foul in the box? I understand what you mean though, Tielamans wasn't aware and wasn't trying to tackle anyone, so it would've been harsh
Chelsea will bottle this like in the fa cup final.
@nexus747 Go to sleep.
There is no way on earth hat Chelsea will win this.Werner is a donkey.
I wonder what Timo’s ratio of goals scored to offside goals scored this year is.
I feel sorry for Giroud. Such a good striker sitting on the bench in all Chelsea's matches, being replaced by the inferior striker, Werner.
@Moriniq Werner is not a real striker. A big man like Giroud does not fit Tuchels's system well
*what happened sh*t autocorrect...:D
I don't think leicester can repeat when happend at FA final. Chelsea creates there much more chances and with Tuchel they will be able to win this very important match with a good tactic. In order if they lose or draw and Liverpool will win next day they probably lose the CL position for next year if won't win the final against City. It would be the biggest fail in this season in Europe if they can't secure CL for next season after this wonderful improvement under Tuchel period. So 1-0 or 2-0 maybe 2-1.
Chelsea have given Werner far too many chances to prove himself this season, but his performances has been mediocre. Time to get rid of him and use Giroud instead or buy a new striker.
HT FT -----> 2/0
Zero zero should be the scoreline either first half or FT
Leicester have scored the third most goals in the Premier League this season, but defensively have been far from solid, conceding 44 goals, just the 11th best defensive record.
Leicester counter attack tactics away from home will get them at least a draw.
Chelsea and Leicester both qualify for CL , fools out
@footballover its impossible, fool
@moonmadness , you know the meaning of impossible, right ?
@footballover you know the meaning of 'qualify for CL'? you say: i can think lei and che will qualify, but i can't think liverpool can beat burnley and c.palace. yeah it's impossible to lose points that two teams.
@moonmadness it's not "impossible".
@MEHJones yeah impossible for liverpool, because they will win both games.
Chelsea obvious must win this match
Chelsea will win this match.... confidence will make Leicester think they can again but it will sleep off
Over 2.5 goals
2-2
1-1
0-1
If Leicester won, it would be their first trophy in their history
@Chilly_B ?????? we have now won all 3 domestic trophies
@Chilly_B What trophy ? 3rd place trophy ?
