- David Alaba has announced he will leave the club at the end of the season for pastures new. Real Madrid and PSG are reportedly front runners for his signature.
- Douglas Costa has a foot injury and is ruled out for several weeks, as is Corentin Tolisso with a muscle injury.
- Thomas Müller is back from COVID-19, while Serge Gnabry is also in the squad for this weekend's game.
- Benjamin Pavard is yet to return a negative COVID-19 test, however.
- Leon Goretzka and Javi Martinez both had COVID-19 and missed the trip to Qatar, but have both returned now to the fray.
- Back-up keeper Alexander Nübel has an ankle injury and is out for up to a month. Tanguy Nianzou is ruled out with a muscle injury.
- Jonas Hector is doubtful with a muscle inury, while Marius Wolf has an ankle injury.
- Sebastiaan Bornauw is ruled out with a back injury. Sava-Arangel Cestic seems the likeliest to step in at the back.
- Ismail Jakobs is nearing a return from an ankle injury, while Ondrej Duda has a rib problem.
- Emmanuel Dennis has joined on loan from Club Bruges. The Nigerian talent has already enjoyed more success than compatriot Tolu Arokodare who has failed to make any sort of impact up front.
- Max Meyer has been on the scrapheap at Crystal Palace for months but has been offered a deal here until the end of the season.
- Sebastian Andersson is still ruled out with a knee problem, while Florian Kainz is closing in on a return from a knee injury.
Great performance. Injury crisis as over as it gets. Müller and Gnabry appear to be in solid form
Müller with assist in the first minute. Not picking him for the Euros isn't an option with a season like this
