Borussia M.Gladbach
Borussia Dortmund
  • Coach Marco Rose is reportedly a target to takeover at Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.
  • Marcus Thuram has served his five-game ban and will return to the squad.
  • Swiss forward Breel Embolo should also return to the squad after being dropped in midweek for contravening COVID-19 regulations.
  • Striker partner Alassane Plea is also fit again after minor injury worries.
  • Valentino Lazaro suffered a minor muscle tear and looks likely to miss out again.
  • Key midfielder Denis Zakaria made his return recently after over eight months out.
  • Axel Witsel has torn his Achilles and will not play again this season, but Emre Can is available after suspension.
  • Marco Reus will be keen to impress against his former employer.
  • English youngster Jude Bellingham returned from a foot injury at the weekend.
  • Thorgan Hazard cannot shake off a muscle injury to face his former club, while Thomas Delaney is suspended after picking up five yellows.
  • Thomas Meunier has recovered from a muscle injury, while former skipper Marcel Schmelzer recovers from a knee op.

Prediction

  • Gladbach have improved of late, but will rue spurning a league-high 18 points from winning positions already this season.
  • Borussia Dortmund were mightily impressive in their last away win in Leipzig, in between two particularly turgid away defeats, leaving them a distant 10 points behind Bayern.
  • Back Gladbach to get the job done comfortably on home soil, making Borussia Dortmund ever keener to lure Marco Rose to take over as next head coach.

  • When they sacked Favre they were 5 points behind Bayern, now it's 10, Bayern has a game in hand and they might drop to 8th. Favre wasn't great, but still decent enough for top 4. Not sure Terzic is. Competition is tough this year. No way Haaland will want to stick around without UCL football

  • @alx30 In a recent "Kicker" interview president Watzke is lamenting, that it is best for Haaland to stay with Dortmund and mature as a forward no matter what. There would be no bigger club than Dortmund who offer him the same infrastructure etc. LOL

  • xd

  • Individual and GK mistakes from Dortmund helped Gladbach with their goals, but 2nd half shows Terzic is out of his depth tactically. Gladbach prevented them from creating decent chances way too easily after Rose changed formation

  • @levn 3 conceded from set-pieces also points to bad management.

  • At least Bundesliga big games are entertaining this season

  • Reus is washed up

  • @nadezhdoy For a long time already. Time for him to realize that and step back.

  • M.Gladbach 2 - 3 Dortmund it's sure 100%

  • @Swan Idiotic post. 100 % sure ...

  • @Swan haha jokeman lmao

  • over 2,5 goals and gladbach in the air

  • Piszczek may be old, but I still don't know how they can prefer Morey over him (or over anyone tbh)

  • easy win for Gladbach no doubt

  • @MorrisBuck88 Dortmund win this match, take a bet.

  • @Finucci must be joking, dortmund most overrated team in Europe.

  • @MorrisBuck88 I would be shocked if i saw a comment from you that's doesn't include this overrated term "overrated"

  • @Youzarix i am right tho

  • Both to score.

  • Over 2.5 goals

  • @Rensen bet won already lol

  • I don't believe in Dortmund for the big games, due to their trash defense. They will score though

  • @maauthi that guerrero guy is a big fraud.all he knows to do is stupid shoot

  • @Dickisonfire99 Raphael Guerreiro* is one of the best Dortmund players, LB's in the world and their biggest assists provider. I advise you to stick to cricket and learn how to spell.

  • @Dickisonfire99 Too many of these Dortmund players only know how to go forward forgetting their defensive duties

  • Gladbach to win and over 2,5 goals

  • @Viego Well done

  • Nahhh.dortmund gonna win.dortmund in bad form, but the players are big games kind of player.haaland to score at least 2

  • @Dickisonfire99 Haaland scored in one of his last five games.

  • @Dickisonfire99 btw marco rose is a good coach and maybe will be good if this a old dortmund.but this dortmund need sarri to be the manager with this player.

  • @Dickisonfire99 Why Sarri ? He is the worst coach ever with bizarre tactics.

  • @neumi17 so does it mean haaland haave no chance to score again with his goal record? btw many good player who played under sarri said he is a great manager.ronaldo hazard?

  • @Dickisonfire99 of course he has a chance, but in every BVB comment section someone has to write "Haaland to score for sure" or "Haaland hattrick" which is getting funny

  • @wilde but he scored two goals now ;)

  • @Norway well I'm not surprised :)
