- AC Milan will be missing some key players for the reception of Atalanta. Midfielder Ismael Bennacer is suspended, while defensive trio Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez and Andrea Conti are now injured.
- Decimated by injuries at the back, Milan will field an unusual backline including Diego Laxalt, Matteo Gabbia and Davide Calabria. This could be a testing match for the home side.

Having scored first they could then play their favourite counterattacking style football. But no, they play in a defensive mindset instead. Somebody please explain me why cannot Gasperini play a front three (Malinovsky, Zapata, Muriel) in front of Gomes in order to upgrade Atalanta's current impotent, goalless game??? Can't he see that without Ilicic Atalanta is not Atalanta any more??? His midfielders and defenders don't chip in any more with goals to help out the drought in goals up front.... He should sacrifice a defensive midfielder for the sake of scoring more goals, because defending is not Atalanta's strength anyway!
