At 3-0 up with Messi strolling around aimlessly the sensible thing to do would be to allow younger players game time and keep him back for the UCL tests ahead which is all that really matters given Barca are going to win the Liga anyway as they do as a matter of routine.
@iluveverton I wish I was as positive as you about Barca winning La Liga. But about Messi, he don't need to be subbed off, you said it yourself, he was strolling on the pitch most of the time, he's basically saving his energy for more important matches while 'playing' and still having a contribution. I don't have any stats but I'm 100% sure Messi is the outfield player with the least amount of distance covered in Europe and we all know how much of an impact he has.
Messi slept through the whole game and still managed to score his 400th La Liga goal. Impressive.
