Team News
Tottenham
Leicester
- Tottenham have a couple of issues in defence, specifically at right-back. Serge Aurier is a doubt with a thigh problem, while Kieran Trippier is sidelined with a knee injury sustained in the 1-0 win over Newcastle, and that could see Toby Alderweireld start at full-back.
- Harry Winks is ruled out, while Mousa Dembele, Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier are doubts, which may see Christian Eriksen start deeper alongside Moussa Sissoko.
- Danny Rose could come in for Ben Davies, while Erik Lamela may feature from the off after a solid cameo off the bench on Wednesday night.
- Claude Puel is without quintet Matty James, Wilfred Ndidi, Robert Huth, Daniel Amartey and Ben Chilwell for their trip to Wembley.
- Marc Albrighton is suspended for the Foxes, but Shinji Okazaki, Danny Simpson and Aleksandar Dragovic will be assessed closer to kick-off.
- Kasper Schmeichel looks set to miss out for the away side on Sunday.
- All being said, Puel could name the same XI that started the 3-1 win over Arsenal on Wednesday night.
So both Salah and Kane should have had penalties today.
Kane to score
Tottenham win
Harry Kane should score one or two here and maybe you want to go for that Spurs win
Vardy is GOAT, he will be at Real Madrid next season...
This should be a surprisingly entertaining game. Both teams will have their tails up from their midweek victories and although they still hoping to finish as high as possible (Spurs 3rd and Leicester 8th) they can relax a little bit and just play some football. Spurs will want to say goodbye to Wembley (at least till 2019 hopefully) with a win and that may just edge it for them. Tottenham 3-2 Leicester.
@MEHJones See, I said that it would be an entertaining game. :)
Harry Kane has to score a hat trick or more to be top scorer....which is probably not gonna happen....
@Shav17 It was never going to be likely after the ankle injury Kane suffered during Tottenham's 4-1 win over Bournemouth. At the time it was questioned whether he even play again this season. Lots of people seem to have have forgotten about that even though Harry is walking around at half speed.
@MEHJones nice !!!!!!!!!!!!! as if salah claimed some on his way to win it XD
@youssefali It's funny how Liverpool fans forget that Dainiel Sturridge claimed a goal from Philppe Coutinho in April 2016 isn't it? Presumably it's acceptable for Liverpool players to do it but not others.
@MEHJones That's a lie. Which goal was it then?
@Flapjack Many thanks for confirming my point about selective memories. The disputed goal was against Everton (as I said above in April 2016). There is this wonderful search engine called Google, which if you enter the correct search terms (e.g. Liverpool, Sturridge, claim, goal) you can find multiple reports on the incident: ww w.liverpoolecho.co.uk/ sport/ football/ football-news/ liverpool- fc- striker- sturridge- makes- 11218312
Kane overlap Mo Salah into top scores PL
2-0
