Team News

Man City
Leicester
  • Ilkay Gundogan and Claudio Bravo are both sidelined for the hosts once more.
  • Sergio Aguero and John Stones will be assessed closer to kick off, though neither are likely to start.
  • All in all, Pep Guardiola could name the same XI that dismantled Crystal Palace last weekend.
  • Craig Shakespeare has revealed Danny Drinkwater may not feature again until next season with a thigh injury, joining Molla Wague and Nampalys Mendy as long-term absentees.
  • Robert Huth also picked up a foot injury last time out and will need to be assessed. With Wes Morgan ruled out, it could leave Leicester short at centre-back.

Prediction

  • A 5-0 trouncing of Crystal Palace on Saturday saw Manchester City stretch their unbeaten home run to 10 Premier League games and they will be confident of extending that record at the weekend. That being said, City have failed to win their last three league meetings with Leicester, losing the last two.
  • Leicester have impressed under Craig Shakespeare, but away from home, their form as left little to the imagination. Indeed, the Foxes have picked up just two wins on the road this season, though those came in their last five games, including a 1-0 win at West Brom late last month.
  • Nevertheless, this City side should have the means to overcome Leicester in Saturday's early kick off.

  • Holy shit such a fraudulent game..... refs never call the double touch on a penalty. Also the first goal was OFFSIDES. Man city are going to make the champions league because of the refs. Fraudiola basically just lost at home to leicester lmao what a terrible coach. He is literally awful. LUCKY or just cheating from Man City. Can't respect a team that has the best squad in the league and can barely finish top 4 lol.

  • @Calcio_Guy give me few examples where refs "never call the double touch"?

  • Leicester actually played a 4-2-3-1. That's how flexible that formation is. They got City's formation right, though.

  • City win here. An absolute must win for them if they want to play in CL. Correct score in my opinion - 2:0. P.S.: Whoscored, please return the "thumbs down" button.

  • city must win here no excuse....3:1 city

  • leicester win

  • City 3 - 1 Leicester
