Team News

Leicester
Watford
  • Islam Slimani was an usused substitute in their 1-0 win against West Brom last weekend but has now returned from injury.
  • Wes Morgan still has a hamstring problem and is looking to return against Manchester City.
  • Kasper Schmeichel has reportedly angered the club by angling for a move away despite being told he is not for sale, so it remains to be seen whether he will start in goal this weekend.
  • A foot injury kept Jose Holebas out of their 1-0 defeat at home to Liverpool last time out and he remains a doubt this weekend.
  • Miguel Britos was forced off after 19 minutes on Monday night and is ruled out this weekend, while Craig Cathcart remains a doubt.

Prediction

  • Leicester are now only four points adrift of eighth and that will be the target for Craig Shakespeare's men over their remaining four league games. They have won each of their last four home league matches and will be confident of winning five in a row at the King Power Stadium for the first time since April 1984 this weekend.
  • Watford are eight points clear of the drop and are safe from relegation but it has been a really underwhelming campaign for the Hornets and Walter Mazzarri could reportedly be sacked at the end of the season. Watford have lost 10 of their last 12 away matches in all competitions, failing to score in their last four, and it seems a safe bet to see this run continue against Leicester.

  • No Britos, no party

  • Leicester 4:0 Watford. Vardy x 3 / Drinkwater x 1

  • Watford are not bad when attacking but they don't do it too often, maybe here? If so then 2-1 Leicester, if not, then 2-0

  • I can expect nothing but a Leicester win after the rumours about Watford. Rumours that they will have been made to train for 12 days in a row before this contest. Fatigue is likely for Watford before a ball is kicked and Vardy is likely to exploit that.

  • leicester win @ 1 - 0 and under 2.5 goals

  • 3-0

  • Leicester 2 - 0 Watford

  • Leicester 2-0 Watford

  • Will leicester win the match?
