Chelsea star Mount on the charge in our Premier League Player Form Rankings

After Aston Villa's match with Newcastle was cancelled on Friday, there is unsurprisingly no change at the top of this week's edition of our Player Form Rankings but there is plenty of movement below with the chasing pack.  

Chelsea's eye-catching win over Leeds has led to a new face in the top-10, while Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has shifted position, albeit potentially not how you would have expected.

Before we dive in to the top-10 most in-form players in the Premier League, it's a good a time as any to remind you of the qualifying rules.

As always, our power rankings are based on a six-game period, weighted chronologically with the most recent outing carrying greater significance and so on. Additionally, each player must have played in two of the last three and six of the last eight available Premier League matches for their team. Finally, only league ratings are considered and nothing acheived in European or cup competition are factored in.

10) Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 7.33 form rating

After a surprising month-long absence from the top-10, Liverpool star Mo Salah has climbed back into the reckoning. Salah scored and assisted in Liverpool's comfortable 4-0 win over Wolves on Sunday. Salah has either scored or assisted, sometimes doing both, in each of his last four Premier League appearances and has played a direct hand in six goals in his last six overall. He generally hasn't been too involved other than that but is still being decisive in games.

9) Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Fulham) - 7.33 rating

Last week it was Ademola Lookman and now Fulham's representative in the top-10 is Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa. Back from a loan spell away last season, Anguissa has been a revelation for the Cottagers this season and his driving runs from midfield are key for them going forward. The 25-year-old has completed the most dribbles in the Premier League this season (38), with 18 coming in his last six appearances (3 pg). Not only a dribbling machine, Anguissa is also getting stuck in with an average of 3.5 tackles pg.

8) Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton) - 7.39 form rating

Everton may have only won one of their last six Premier League matches but Dominic Calvert-Lewin has impressive managed to continue his fine start to the campaign. Calvert-Lewin has four goals in his last six league appearances and 11 in total for the season but has dropped two places from last week's edition of our Premier League form rankings.

7) Harry Kane (Tottenham) - 7.52 form rating

Harry Kane was decisive in yet another North London derby, playing a direct hand in both goals in Tottenham's 2-0 home win over Arsenal on Sunday. However, Kane has actually dropped three players in our form guide despite a positive showing at the weekend. That is because his display against West Ham, where he scored two and provided one assisst, back in October is now his seventh most recent game and is no longer considered. Instead replaced by Sunday's appearance against Arsenal, Kane's form rating has dropped and therefore explains why he has fallen to seventh in the rankings.

6) Mason Mount (Chelsea) - 7.63 form rating

Mason Mount was the WhoScored Man of the Match from Chelsea's 3-1 home win over Leeds on Saturday night after yet another all-action display. Mount registered seven key passes against Leeds, a personal record in a match for Chelsea in all competitions. Mount has two assists in his last six and his form rating will likely increase further next week once his 18-minute substitute appearance against Manchester United, currently the sixth and final game, is no longer considered.

5) Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) - 7.64 form rating

Bruno Fernandes has dropped from second in our form rankings to fifth. Fernandes helped change the game for Manchester United against West Ham but limited to only 45 minutes as a substitute his rating was not as high as you may expect. He remarkably still created eight goalscoring chances from open play, including the assist for Paul Pogba's equaliser. Across his last six Premier League appearances, Fernandes has played a direct hand in six goals (four goals, two assists)

4) Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) - 7.75 form rating

Riyad Mahrez moves up one place from last week after following up his hat-trick display last weekend with another good performance last time out. Manchester City beat Fulham 2-0 on Saturday and Mahrez registered four key passes and completed three dribbles. Mahrez has created 17 goalscoring chances across his last six Premier League appearances and has surprisingly even managed at least one tackle in five of those games.

3) Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) - 7.78 form rating

Manchester City midfieleder Kevin De Bruyne is storming his way towards the No.1 spot in our Premier League form rankings with another big climb in the top-10. De Bruyne was directly involved in both of City's goals at the weekend, setting up Raheem Sterling for the first before converting the second from the spot himself. De Bruyne has six goals and assists in his last six Premier League appearances and is hitting peak form just in time for Saturday's Manchester Derby.

2) James Ward-Prowse (Southampton) - 7.78 form rating

Narrowly edging Kevin De Bruyne to second spot is Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse. The England international was again key for Southampton, as they came from behind to beat Brighton on Monday. It was from a Ward-Prowse corner which saw Southampton draw level and means the 26-year-old now has seven goals and assists in his last six Premier League outings. Ward-Prowse is in career best form at the moment.

1) Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) - 7.96 form rating

Jack Grealish's rating remains unchanged after Aston Villa's game with Newcastle was called off on Friday night. The Aston Villa ace remains top of the pile, as the most in-form player in the Premier League, though you'd expect Kevin De Bruyne to seriously challenge him in the coming weeks. Grealish has four goals and assists in his last six, while also averaging 4 dribbles pg, 2.7 key passes pg and 5 fouls won pg.
