After bringing you the five biggest market risers on Tuesday, something that changes regularly, we bring you our five to buy ahead of the weekend
MOHAMED SALAH – LIVERPOOL (BUY)
Now, if you don’t already have Mohamed Salah in your portfolio, then you’ve already missed some huge gains in the Liverpool star, but that doesn’t mean you should overlook the striking sensation on Football INDEX. He may boast a £9.40 buy price per share, yet that should continue to rise regardless.
After a man of the match display against Roma on Tuesday night, Salah is now within five goals of breaking Ian Rush’s Liverpool record for the most goals scored in a single season, with the forward sitting on 43 goals. As talk of a Ballon d’Or award and a possible big money move intensifies over the coming weeks and months, Salah should be a definite money maker with the media buzz alone a huge factor in that.
MAX MEYER – SCHALKE (BUY)
Schalke on Thursday confirmed that Max Meyer will leave the club over the summer and that has prompted a surge in his buy price. At £1.97 per share on Football INDEX, the German midfielder is still a relatively affordable addition to your portfolio, yet we’re expecting that the rise further as the transfer window nears its opening.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been credited with an interest in Meyer, who is widely expected to make a move to the Premier League this summer. With the increased media buzz surrounding the 22-year-old, he’s one to buy shares in sooner rather than later.
JADON SANCHO – BORUSSIA DORTMUND (BUY)
Jadon Sancho made the headlines for all the right reasons over the weekend, with the teenager churning out a man of the match showing in Borussia Dortmund’s 4-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen. One goal and two assists saw Sancho earned a WhoScored.com 10 rating in the victory and has triggered another surge of interest in the youngster.
At the time of writing, Sancho boasts a buy price of £2.09 per share on Football INDEX, yet that should rise as his stock continues to soar, in more ways than one. The 18-year-old is one of the hottest young prospects on the continent and with whispers of an England call-up doing the rounds, the Dortmund sensation is one to keep an eye on.
GERARD MORENO – ESPANYOL (BUY)
Espanyol have been notoriously goalshy in La Liga this season, netting just 28 goals in 34 matches. Gerard Moreno has scored 14 of those goals and with a buy price of just £0.70 per share on Football INDEX; the striker could prove a shrewd addition to your portfolio.
Freed from the shackles of Quique Sanchez Flores’ pragmatic approach, Espanyol have shown improved attacking impetus and that should help them end the campaign strongly. While not yet mathematically safe from relegation – they sit 11 points above the bottom three with four games to play – the Catalonian side are set to ply their trade in La Liga next term, but if he maintains his good form, that may be without Moreno, who could land you a nice profit.
MARCELO BROZOVIC – INTER (BUY)
Inter have been quietly going about their business in recent weeks in their hunt for a top-4 finish, with midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in fine form as the season comes to a head. The Croat was a new entry in WhoScored.com’s in-form player rankings in the week and Football INDEX users have taken note, with his buy price increasing 8.64% over the last seven days.
Inter face Juventus at the weekend in a key match for both teams and Brozovic will look to play a big role for the home side in the Derby d’Italia. His buy price is currently £1.07 per share and with regular rumours linking him with a Premier League switch, he could prove a bargain addition to your portfolio.
