WhoScored Tipster: The Top Tips in This Week's Champions League Action

Now back in full swing, bet365 are celebrating the return of the Champions League with another great offer for both new and existing customers. With Arsenal hosting Barcelona once again in the knockout stages they are giving anyone who places a pre-match bet of up to £50 a risk-free in-play bet of the same value on Tuesday night’s clash.

Here we give our tips once again on all of this week’s mouth-watering Champions League action.

Arsenal vs Barcelona - Match Preview

Meeting for the fifth time since the 2006 final between these two sides, Barcelona are again the strong favourites (@1.70 with bet365), and understandably so given their current form. The blaugrana are unbeaten since October, winning 13 of their last 14 matches in all competitions.

It makes for bleak reading for the hosts but there are some reasons for optimism, not least that the Gunners - and indeed Barcelona - have scored in each of the 7 meetings between the sides since the turn of the century. Odds on a repeat of both teams scoring at the Emirates on Tuesday are modest @1.61 but represent decent value, with a profit of £30.50 from a £50 bet.

A bet on both teams to score before the game will trigger the risk-free in-play bet of the same value and Luis Suarez is worth backing given his hot streak. The Uruguayan may have only scored twice against Arsenal in the past but both goals came away from home. With 15 goals in all competitions since the turn of the year, 11 have come after the interval and he has scored the final goal in 4 of his last 6 appearances, with odds currently as high as @5.50 on Suarez to score the last goal of the game. That would return a vast £225 profit from a £50 bet if catching those odds early on during the match.

Juventus vs Bayern Munich - Match Preview

WhoScored Tipster: The Top Tips in This Week's Champions League Action

Two of the pre-tournament favourites go head-to-head as last year’s beaten finalists Juventus host Bayern, with the sides meeting for the ninth time in the last 10 season’s of the tournament. With both teams on such fine form the key to picking your bets in this game is checking the team news, with Pep Guardiola’s men without three first team centre-backs and set to field a makeshift back four.

The hosts may sense that there is a chance to dump out a real rival for the crown as a result, but first an foremost will aim to keep things tight at the back. Bayern haven’t been steamrolling past sides in the league like they used to, without a victory by more than a two goal margin since November, and this is likely to be another tight affair. Odds on under 2.5 goals seem reasonable @1.60, but for the daring among you in-form Lewandowski to score first in a hard-fought draw @21.00 are massive.

PSV Eindhoven vs Ateltico Madrid - Match Preview

PSV Eindhoven are a surprise inclusion in the round of 16 but have certainly progressed on merit and are in fantastic form. The Dutch champions are on an 8-game winning streak in the Eredivisie and won all three of their home matches in the group stages.

Atletico come into the game in patchy form by comparison, but the 2014 finalists have been typically solid on the road all season, conceding in just 7 of 19 away games in all competitions. The smart money in this one may well be the combined bet of a draw and under 2.5 goals @3.75 with bet365.

Dynamo Kyiv vs Manchester City - Match Preview

Manuel Pellegrini’s men will be fully rested for the trip to Ukraine, with the likes of Kompany, Silva and Aguero back in the ranks. The visitors will be hoping to exploit any rustiness from their hosts on Wednesday, with Kyiv out of competitive action since their last Champions League outing against Maccabi Tel Aviv in December.

The home side offer a real threat down the flanks through Andriy Yarmolenko and Derlis Gonzalez and have a solid defensive record, with only three sides conceding fewer shots per game in the group stages (9.7). With City’s favoured defensive duo of Kompany and Otamendi back in the line-up a tight game is to be expected as a result , with odds of under 2.5 goals offering good value @1.80.
