Five Liverpool players dominate Form XI as De Bruyne and Traore drop out

In recent weeks and months there have been two ever presents in our Premier League Form XI - based on *weighted ratings over the last six matches - but both Kevin De Bruyne and Adama Traore have relinquished their spots following the weekend's action.

The duo are two of five players to lose their place from the last lineup a fortnight ago, along with Nick Pope, Mason Holgate and Riyad Mahrez. We run through the replacement quintet ahead of a break in Premier League proceedings.

Goalkeeper: Alisson (Liverpool) - 7.41 weighted rating

Another game, another Liverpool win and another clean sheet for Alisson, though it's fair to say the Reds were made to work for all three points against Southampton, even if the 4-0 scoreline suggested otherwise. The Brazilian was forced into four saves against Saints and has now conceded just one goal in his last ten Premier League appearances.

Centre-back: Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea) - 7.29 weighted rating

If any player was expected to find themselves on the scoresheet not once but twice this weekend for Chelsea, Frank Lampard would not have expected Rudiger to be the man to step up to the plate as he continues to bemoan a lack of end product. The German scored with both of his attempts at goal in the 2-2 draw with Leicester and his return to both fitness and form has been a positive in a relatively disappointing period for the Blues.

Right wing: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 8.09 weighted rating

Three goals and an assist in the space of four days have seen Salah not only take a place in the Form XI but earn the highest weighted rating in the side. The Egyptian's efforts over victories against West Ham and Southampton made him the third player to have a direct hand in 20 Premier League goals this season, and a shot at a third successive Golden Boot is suddenly back on.

Central midfield: Etienne Capoue (Watford) - 7.53 weighted rating

Taking the place of De Bruyne this week, Capoue's role in Watford's albeit stunted survival bid of late cannot be overstated. The Frenchman has been the player that has really instigated the press for the Hornets of late and made five tackles and interceptions apiece against Everton at the weekend, taking his respective tallies to 26 and 15 over his last six appearances.

Left wing: Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) - 7.47 weighted rating

In and out of the Form XI over the past month, Grealish is back in at the expense of Traore this week after the Spaniard suffered injuries against Manchester United at the weekend. While the Villa man was unable to add to his goal or assist tallies in defeat to Bournemouth he clipped the post with one of five shots, completed five dribbles and created five chances - no player managed more in gameweek 25 - whilst drawing a near customary five fouls.

*Qualifying Rules

The 'Form XI' is calculated using only ratings from each players last six league appearances. Ratings are weighted chronologically, with the latest performance being most important and so on. To qualify players must have featured in two of the last three matches available and started six of the last eight.
