David Silva turned in his best display in a long time in Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth at the weekend. The Spaniard was the WhoScored Man of the Match after assisting two of City’s goals. Silva also completed three dribbles and had two efforts on goal.

 

Nathan Redmond put Southampton’s game with Brighton beyond reach for the Seagulls with a 91st-minute effort to make it 2-0. The Southampton striker had three shots, completed three dribbles and registered two key passes.

 

Tammy Abraham (Chelsea) – 11 points

 

There have been a lot of question marks regarding Tammy Abraham’s suitability as Chelsea’s first-choice strikers during the early rounds of the new season but the youngster answered some of those with a brace in a 3-2 win over Norwich on Saturday.

Sebastien Haller (West Ham) / Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) – 12 points

 

Sebastien Haller didn’t have his best game in general play but West Ham’s club-record signing popped up with important contributions in their 3-1 win over Watford on Saturday. Haller scored twice to take the WhoScored Man of the Match award at Vicarage Road.

 

Sergio Aguero celebrated 400 career goals in Manchester City’s triumph at Bournemouth, netting twice in their victory. The Argentina international had four attempts in total and also registered three key passes.

 

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) – 14 points

 

Top spot from gameweek three in the Premier League is reserved for Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah. The Egypt international tormented Arsenal’s defence, particularly David Luiz, to score twice in a 3-1 win. Salah converted a penalty he won from a Luiz foul before turning Arsenal’s deadline day signing inside out to run clear and score.
