Form Guide
Manchester City are in unstoppable form at present and head into Sunday's Manchester Derby unbeaten in 18 in all competitions. City booked their spot in the next round of the FA Cup in flying fashion in midweek as they dismantled Luton 6-2 at Kenilworth Road, with star striker Erling Haaland netting five times.
Like City, Manchester United also secured their place in the next round of the competition as they left it late to beat Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. United haven't been in poor form of late, winning six of their last seven with a 2-1 loss to Fulham last weekend the only blip on the record book, but Erik ten Hag's side have been riding their luck.
Team news
Jack Grealish was in tears as he was forced off in the first half of the 6-2 win at Luton with the England international succumbing to another injury and he is expected to sit out the welcome of Manchester United. Josko Gvardiol will be assessed but the duo are City's only injury concerns here.
Erik ten Hag remains without no fewer than seven players for the trip across Manchester. Lisandro Martinez, Rasmus Hojlund and Luke Shaw are the standout absentees with United far weaker without the trio. Harry Maguire will be assessed having missed the midweek win at Forest with Sofyan Amrabat in line to start at left-back owing to United's defensive issues. Bruno Fernandes should recover in time to start on Sunday despite being seen limping after the midweek Forest win.
Probable XIs
Man City (3241) - Ederson; Akanji, Dias, Ake; Stones, Rodri; Silva, Alvarez, De Bruyne, Foden; Haaland
Man Utd (4231) - Onana; Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Amrabat; Casemiro, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Antony; Rashford
Erling Haaland netted five times in midweek as Manchester City cruised past Luton into the next round of the FA Cup. The Norway international warmed up for the Manchester Derby in fine fashion and he'll look to add to his 17 league goals this season when City take on Manchester United on Sunday. Haaland has an excellent record against United having scored five and provided three assists in three league meetings with Erik ten Hag's side.
For the Manchester Derby, SkyBet have a tasty price boost to sink your teeth into with Haaland boosted from 1/2 to EVENS to score against United. This is one to back on Sunday.
