Goalkeeper: Aaron Ramsdale (Bournemouth) - 7.21 rating
Bournemouth's miserable run against Liverpool continued at the weekend, as the Cherries slipped to a 3-0 defeat against the Premier League leaders. It could have been a lot worse for Eddie Howe's side had Aaron Ramsdale not made six saves.
Right-back: Achraf Hakimi (Borussia Dortmund) - 7.86 rating
Achraf Hakimi is one of three Borussia Dortmund players in our best rated XI after the Bundesliga side ran out 5-0 winners at home to Fortuna Duesseldorf at the weekend. Hakimi registered one assist in the victory in another thoroughly effective display from the 21-year-old, who is expected to return to parent club Real Madrid at the end of the season to fight for a first-team place there.
Centre-back: Dayot Upamecano (RB Leipzig) - 8.15 rating
RB Leipzig kept pace with top of the table with a 3-1 win at home to Hoffenheim and Dayot Upamecano turned in another assured performance at the back. The Arsenal target set a personal record for most aerial duels won in a Bundesliga match this season (7) and completed as many dribbles (2) as his previous seven league outings combined.
Centre-back: Dan-Axel Zagadou (Borussia Dortmund) - 7.78 rating
Dan-Axel Zagadou joins team-mate Hakimi in our best rated XI after turning in a commanding display against Fortuna Duesseldorf on just his second league start of the season. Fortuna Duesseldorf didn't even register a shot on target, with Zagadou winning five aerial duels. The 20-year-old also misplaced just five of 103 attempted passes.
Left-back: Stanley N'Soki (Nice) - 7.71 rating
Nice bounced back from a heavy 4-1 defeat to Saint-Etienne with their own 4-1 win over Metz at the weekend, with Stanley N'Soki impressing from left-back. The 20-year-old recorded a pass success rate in excess of 90% for the fifth time in seven league starts this season, as well as making eight tackles and interceptions combined.
Central midfield: Oscar Rodriguez (Leganes) - 8.92 rating
Real Madrid loanee Oscar Rodriguez inspired Leganes to a 3-2 win over Celta Vigo on Sunday with a brace. Rodriguez had only scored twice in his previous 14 league outings combined. The 21-year-old also registered two key passes and won three aerial duels.
Central midfield: Yangel Herrera (Granada) - 8.29 rating
Yangel Herrera netted his second league goal of the season at the weekend, as Granada thumped Alaves 3-0. Herrera also carried out his defensive responsibilities with aplomb, setting a personal record for tackles in a LaLiga match this season (6).
Central midfield: Federico Valverde (Real Madrid) - 7.90 rating
It was another highly encouraging display from rising Real Madrid star Federico Valverde at the weekend, as the 21-year-old registered an assist in their 2-0 win at home to Espanyol. Valverde created two goalscoring chances in total, completed two dribbles and had three shots of his own.

Watford couldn't find a way to breakdown Crystal Palace at the weekend but supporters are starting to see more of what Ismaila Sarr is about. Leaving the best until last, Jadon Sancho is the top WhoScored rated player aged 21 and under in Europe's top five legaues from the weekend's action. Sancho, whose future at Borussia Dortmund is in doubt at the moment amid strong interest from Manchester United, scored twice and registered one assist in a 5-0 win over Fortuna Duesseldorf.
