Watch: Man Utd and Liverpool the focus of Edge of the Box

 

Edge of the Box is back to preview gameweek 14 in the Premier League this weekend, with host Dan Bardell joined by Jonathan Wilson and WhoScored.com's very own Ben McAleer, and here is what is on offer. 

 

The panel take a look through the Champions League team of the week, before taking a dive into the upcoming weekend’s action. 

 

Manchester United's welcome of West Ham is the first game up for discussion, with a look at Casemiro’s recent upturn in form winning over Erik ten Hag’s in recent weeks, and how this has left the United manager with a decision to make over his midfield selections. The possible impact of Varane’s injury to United, as well as West Ham’s adjustment to Thursday-Sunday football, is also discussed. 

 

 

The panel then move on to the other big game of the weekend in Saturday evening’s clash between Liverpool and Leeds. The Reds' positive home form is compared with their questionable away form, which has left them potentially out of the race for both the title and the top four, with Jurgen Klopp’s final year at Borussia Dortmund showing similar patterns to Liverpool this season. The reasons behind why Leeds have had such a downturn in form of late is also examined. 

 

Ending the show, as always, is the quickfire match previews, as Dan, Jonathan and Ben talk us through the remaining Premier League fixtures.
