Form Guide

Arsenal's season has come off the rails a little in recent weeks. The Gunners have won just one of their last seven games in all competitions, and have lost three on the bounce. They have never lost four in a row under Mikel Arteta. Arsenal were knocked out of the FA Cup in that run and will hope the break in play will have had a positive effect.

Crystal Palace ended an eight-game winless run with a 3-1 win over Brentford at the end of December to give the Eagles some breathing space between themselves and the relegation zone. Palace though do remain just five points above the bottom three and, like Arsenal, were knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round following defeat to Everton.

Team News

Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny miss out for Arsenal due to their respective involvement at the Asian Cup and Africa Cup of Nations. Mikel Arteta is sweating on the fitness of key duo Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus and will hope to have both available for selection here. Jurrien Timber, Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira are all sidelined due to injury.

Crystal Palace are without no fewer than five players due to injury, with Michael Olise and Cheick Doucoure the headline absentees. Rob Holding also misses out against his former employers, with Joel Ward and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi making up the remaining members in the Palace physio room. Jordan Ayew is with Ghana for the Africa Cup of Nations, so summer signing Matheus Franca is in line to make his full Premier League debut following his arrival from Flamengo.

SkyBet Price Boost

Martin Odegaard may not have been at his best in an Arsenal shirt this season but when on song; he's nigh-on impossible to stop. Crystal Palace will do all they can to minimise his impact in the final third as they seek to prolong Arsenal's woes. Odegaard is expected to come up against Jefferson Lerma in the middle of the park, the Colombian not one to shirk a phsyical battle.

Lerma is averaging 1.6 fouls per 90 and has committed nine across his last two league outings. Odegaard, meanwhile, has been fouled at least two times in three of his last five Premier League appearances. SkyBet have therefore boosted their price on Odegaard to win two or more fouls from 9/4 to 11/4.
