Arsenal and Chelsea stars make Premier League Team of the Week

Burnley dominate the Premier League team of the week with four players following their resounding 5-0 win over Sheffield United. Elsewhere, Chelsea, Newcastle, Arsenal, Fulham, Brentford and Bournemouth are also represented in the best XI.

Robert Sanchez (Chelsea) - 7.47

10-man Chelsea triumphed over Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday with former Seagulls shotstopper Robert Sanchez doing enough to make the Premier League team of the week. Sanchez made a total of seven saves and three high ball claims in a solid showing against his former employers.

Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) - 9.10

With a WhoScored rating of 9.10, Kieran Trippier is the player of the week. The Newcastle star provided the assist for Anthony Gordon's winning goal against Manchester United on Saturday, that coming from one of six key passes, and he was unfortunate not to get on the scoresheet himself having managed two shots, one of which struck the bar in the first half at St. James' Park. Four interceptions, four clearances and two tackles marked a memorable display.

Dara O'Shea (Burnley) - 7.94

Burnley dominate the Premier League team of the week following their resounding 5-0 win over fellow promoted side Sheffield United. Dara O'Shea returned a WhoScored rating of 7.94 in the victory having provided the assist for Jacob Bruun Larsen's first and Burnley's second on the half hour mark. The 24-year-old also won seven aerial duels in a fine display.

Ben Mee (Brentford) - 7.90

Partnering O'Shea at the heart of the defence is Brentford centre-back Ben Mee. Mee scored the Bees' second against Luton on Saturday afternoon on their way to a 3-1 victory on home turf, netting with one of three efforts on goal. The 34-year-old also won three aerial duels, and made two clearances and one interception to secure his spot in the side.

Antonee Robinson (Fulham) - 8.62

Fulham may have fallen to a late 4-3 loss at Liverpool on Sunday but Antonee Robinson was one who could come off the pitch with credit. Indeed, Robinson made a whopping 13 interceptions at Anfield; no player has made more in a Premier League match since WhoScored started collecting Opta data from 2009/10. Robinson also made four tackles and provided one assist in a superb showing even in defeat.

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) - 8.73

Arsenal head into the midweek games top of the table with a two-point buffer between themselves and Liverpool having earned a 2-1 win over Wolves, with Bukayo Saka key. The Gunners winger bagged his fifth league goal of the campaign in the narrow victory as he struck with one of three shots. Saka was unfortunate not to add an assist having made four key passes at the Emirates.

Amdouni also completed three dribbles and made two tackles in a player of the match performance.
