Odegaard one of two Arsenal players to make the Premier League form rankings

Mohamed Salah has dropped off top spot on the form standings following his worst rated league performance of the campaign in Liverpool's 1-0 loss at Bournemouth last weekend. With a new player stop the leaderboard, we run through the Premier League's top 10 in-form players, with Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City, Brighton, Everton and Aston Villa all represented.  

10. Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) - 7.42 

After a fine run of form, Bukayo Saka has now failed to score in back-to-back Premier League matches, while his performance against Fulham at the weekend was one of his worst in a Premier League game this season. As such, Saka has dropped to 10th in the form rankings, though a rating of 7.42 is still commendable. 

9. Harry Kane (Tottenham) - 7.49 

Moving up into ninth, Harry Kane was back among the goals at the weekend as he netted twice in Tottenham's 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest to take him to 20 league goals for the season. Kane faces one of his favourite opponents in Southampton this weekend, so there is the chance for the Spurs star to continue his rise up the leaderboard. 

8. Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton) - 7.50 

Kaoru Mitoma has been directly involved in a goal in each of his last three league outings, and while he claimed the assist for Solly March's winner in midweek, that performance actually pushed a man of the match showing against Leicester out of contention. As such, while Mitoma's WhoScored form rating is a notable 7.50, the Brighton star drops to eighth on the standings. 

7. Jack Grealish (Manchester City) - 7.50 

Another to drop down the form standings, Jack Grealish has returned a WhoScored form rating of 7.50 across his last six outings. Grealish has failed to directly contribute towards a goal in his last three league appearances and while his form rating has actually increased since last week, he has still fallen to seventh. 

6. Martin Ødegaard (Arsenal) - 7.50 

The second Arsenal player in the top 10, and third with a WhoScored form rating of 7.50, Martin Ødegaard is back in the form standings after a brief stint off the leaderboard. The Gunners skipper has been directly involved in a goal in three of his last five league appearances, including his 10th league goal of the season in Sunday's 3-0 win over Fulham, to feature in sixth. 

5. Dwight McNeil (Everton) - 7.51 

A key man in Everton's quest to beat the drop, Dwight McNeil has been crucial for the Toffees following Sean Dyche's appointment at the Goodison Park helm. The Everton winger put in his best performance of the season last time out as the Merseyside outfit beat Brentford 1-0, with McNeil scoring the winner early on, and that has seen him surge up into fifth on the form standings. 

4. Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) - 7.53 

Another big riser into the top 10, Ollie Watkins has been in superb form since the World Cup break, having now scored six goals in his last seven league outings, including strikes in meetings with title chasing pair Arsenal and Manchester City. Unfortunate not to receive an England call-up, Watkins is the Premier League's fourth best in-form player. 

3. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 7.56 

Knocked off top spot, Mohamed Salah was nowhere near his best in Liverpool's 1-0 loss at Bournemouth at the weekend as they lost ground in the race for a top-four finish. The defeat on the south coast marked Salah's worst rated Premier League performance of the season, a far cry from the previous week where he earned a perfect 10 in the Reds' 7-0 win over Manchester United as the Reds star drops to third. 

2. Rodri (Manchester City) - 7.69 

One to capitalise on Salah's drop in form rating, Rodri has risen to second on the leaderboard as he continues to impress in the Manchester City midfield. Rodri earned his third WhoScored man of the match award of the campaign last time out as City beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park in a showing that marked the Spaniard's fourth best rated league performance of the campaign.

1. Solly March (Brighton) - 7.76 

Not for the first time this season, Solly March is the Premier League's in-form player having returned a WhoScored form rating of 7.76. Like Watkins, March was unfortunate to be overlooked for England call-up on Thursday with the 28-year-old, on current performances, deserving of his spot in the squad. Two of March's five best rated league outings of the season have come in his last five outings, which helps explain his place atop the form standings.
