Man City and PSG continue to trade places atop team form rankings
After a big weekend of fixtures across Europe we assess the latest team form rankings as Paris Saint Germain displace Manchester City from the number one spot as the two continue to lead the way.
The Ligue 1 leaders heaped more misery onto Thierry Henry’s Monaco with a 4-0 win at the weekend, stretching their faultless start to their title defence having now scored 21 times and conceded just once over their last six league outings.
Meanwhile, while City picked up a convincing win of their own over neighbours Manchester United, they surrender top spot, with RB Leipzig hot on their heels in third after a fifth consecutive clean sheet and second successive 3-0 win, this time over Bayer Leverkusen.
Atalanta are the highest risers into the top ten following a thumping win over in form Inter, who drop off the leaderboard as a consequence of a heavy and merited 4-1 defeat.
Frankfurt complete the top five following a 3-goal victory of their own over Schalke, with five wins from six and a tally of 20 goals in that time moving the club up to fourth after a disappointing start to the campaign.
Juventus move up to sixth having beaten AC Milan 2-0, while Hoffenheim climb one place to seventh after a fourth consecutive win and Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund are eighth having come from behind to win Der Klassiker over Bayern and record back-to-back victories.
Nantes and Napoli complete the top ten, with Montpellier and Chelsea losing their places on the leaderboard along with Inter.
