Record-breaking Chelsea star leads UltimateFan points earners for Gameweek 33

 

Following the weekend’s Premier League action, we run through the highest UltimateFan Point Scorers from gameweek 33. Represented in the top 10 are Newcastle, Burnley, Chelsea, Wolves, Manchester City, Fulham and Manchester United. 

 

10. Fabian Schar (Newcastle) - 14 UltimateFan Points 

 

Newcastle centre-back Fabian Schar netted his fourth league goal of the season as the Magpies cruised past a poor Tottenham side at St James’ Park on Saturday. The Switzerland international, who headed home the hosts’ fourth goal of the afternoon three minutes from time, also made two tackles, four interceptions, five clearances, two blocks and one key pass to return 14 UltimateFan points. 

 

9. Josh Brownhill (Burnley) - 14 UltimateFan Points 

 

Josh Brownhill’s fourth league goal of the season was not enough to help Burnley to all three points against Brighton on Saturday as the Clarets ultimately settled for a draw with the Seagulls at Turf Moor. Brownhill, who came on as a substitute in the 67th minute, also made four tackles and one successful dribble to post 14 UltimateFan points.

8. Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea) - 14 UltimateFan Points 

 

Nicolas Jackson brought his tally of goals in his debut Premier League season to 10 with a magnificent effort against Everton on Monday evening. The Senegal international also provided the assist for Cole Palmer’s opener, made two key passes and five successful dribbles to land a total of 14 UltimateFan points. 

 

7. Alexander Isak (Newcastle) - 16 UltimateFan Points 

 

Newcastle striker Alexander Isak netted in a sixth successive home Premier League match at the weekend. The Sweden international opened the scoring for the hosts after sitting down Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven, before adding his second of the afternoon just six minutes into the second half. Isak also made one key pass and completed one dribble to help himself to 16 UltimateFan points.  

 

 

6. Matheus Cunha (Wolves) - 16 UltimateFan Points 

 

Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha found the net for the first time since returning from injury when he bagged a brace to help his side earn a point against Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Cunha scored from two of his three attempts on goal, while he also made one key pass, to register 16 UltimateFan points. 

 

5. Josko Gvardiol (Manchester City) - 17 UltimateFan Points 

 

After opening his scoring account for Manchester City against Real Madrid last week - and with some strike, too - Josko Gvardiol found the net once again against Luton on Saturday. The Croatian, who seemingly only scores sensational goals, also provided the assist for Jeremy Doku’s late strike, while he additionally made three tackles, two key passes and two aerial wins to return 17 UltimateFan points. 

 

4. Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) - 17 UltimateFan Points 

 

Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon became the sixth player to register a perfect WhoScored 10 rating in the Premier League this season after his performance against Tottenham on Saturday. The England international set up teammate Alexander Isak for the Magpies’ first goal of the afternoon, before doubling their lead just two minutes later. Gordon would then go on to provide the assist for Fabian Schar’s 87th-minute header, while he also made two successful dribbles and a whopping eight key passes to earn 17 UltimateFan points.

3. Andreas Pereira (Fulham) - 18 UltimateFan Points 

 

Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira was the star as Marco Silva’s side sealed a 2-0 victory over West Ham on Sunday afternoon. Pereira - who had not found the net in the Premier League since August - was on target for both of the visitors’ goals at the London Stadium at the weekend, while the Brazilian also made three key passes and one successful dribble to earn 18 UltimateFan points. 

 

2. Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) - 18 UltimateFan Points 

 

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes made it five Premier League goals in as many games when he netted a brace in the Red Devils’ 2-2 draw at Bournemouth on Saturday evening. The Portugal international found the net with two of his three shots on goal, while he also made two tackles, three clearances and two aerial wins for a total of 18 UltimateFan points. 

 

1. Cole Palmer (Chelsea) - 34 UltimateFan Points 

 

Who else to top the chart this week but Chelsea star Cole Palmer, who became the first player to register multiple perfect WhoScored 10 ratings in the Premier League this season. The 21-year-old netted a first half hat-trick against Everton on Monday evening - his second treble in as many home matches - before adding a fourth from the penalty spot after 64 minutes, to land a whopping 34 UltimateFan points, the biggest score by a single player in a Premier League match this season.
