Liverpool talisman drops down form rankings as Aston Villa pair shine
Newcastle are the dominant side in the WhoScored form rankings with three players in the top 10 following their 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace to make it four wins from their last five. Tottenham and Aston Villa have two players each, while Nottingham Forest, Arsenal and Liverpool are also represented.
10. Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle) - 7.44
Following a sub-par start to the season, Bruno Guimaraes has really come into his own in recent weeks as noted by a WhoScored form rating of 7.44. Stand out displays against Sheffield United and Burnley in that run has helped push the Newcastle star into 10th.
9. Willy-Arnaud Boly (Nottingham Forest) - 7.46
Rising into the top 10, Willy-Arnaud Boly has been Nottingham Forest's stand out performer in the Premier League this season. Despite throwing away a two-goal against Luton, Boly still shone in the stalemate at athe weekend and he features ninth in the form standings as a result.
8. Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa) - 7.56
Aston Villa's record breaking midfielder features in eighth following a superb display against West Ham at the weekend. Douglas Luiz bagged goals number four and five for the season in Villa's 4-1 win over the Hammers on Saturday, earning a WhoScored rating of 8.81 in the process, his best in 2023/24.
7. Son Heung-Min (Tottenham) - 7.71
Following a player of the match performance against Fulham on Monday night, Son Heung-Min features in seventh in the form standings with a form rating of 7.71. The Tottenham skipper has scored seven goals in his last six outings and he'll look to build upon that record against Crystal Palace on Friday night.
6. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 7.72
Dropping down to sixth in the form standings, Mohamed Salah may have netted twice in the 2-0 Merseyside Derby win over Everton but a dip in WhoScored rating compared to his best rated displays of the campaign last month means the more recent displays have cost him a spot in the top three. Nevertheless, a form rating of 7.72 is not to be scoffed at.
5. James Maddison (Tottenham) - 7.78
The second Tottenham player to make the cut, James Maddison continued his fine start to the season with a goal against Fulham on Monday night. With two goals and three assists across his last six league outings, this has helped Maddison maintain a WhoScored form rating of 7.78.
4. Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) - 7.82
The second of three Newcastle players to make the top 10, Anthony Gordon is certainly doing his England hopes no harm as he continues to shine under Eddie Howe. Indeed, he bagged his third league goal of the season in the recent mauling of Crystal Palace with Gordon really justifying the hefty fee the Magpies paid Everton for his services back in January.

Eight of the 10 goals he has been directly involved in have come in his last four outings to boost Watkins' form rating.

Retaining top spot on the WhoScored form standings, Kieran Trippier saw his form rating rise 0.02 to 7.89 this week having added his sixth league assist of the season in Newcastle's 4-0 win over Crystal Palace last time out. All six assists this season have come in his last four outings.
