I dread that Liverpool are gonna have the infamous Neverkusen season. I hope they win the CL. Liverpool are really are the people's champion. They really deserved to win league title but didn't. Hopefully the red scouser can win the CL instead. Wouldn't be a bad consolation prize. It's weird to call CL a consolation prize. But it's league title that has tragically eluded Liverpool for some unexplained reasons.
@Ffaris The team with the highest goal difference always deserve to win the title and that team wasn't Liverpool. GD is the pure essence of football and it is the best way to determine who deserves to win the title.
I believe EPL is the best league in the world, because they always play passionate football. Still some kick and rush, but now many teams play the ball more. 4 English clubs finalist in Champions League 2019 and Europa League 2019 that is some amazing achievement! Were there other European big Leagues ever achieve that? Congrat to EPL.
@BeautifulLoser City and Liverpool saved this seasons PL for sure, when so many others dissapointed. (Esp. all the London teams other than perhaps Tottenham)
@Fromhell There are three London teams in the European Cup finals. West Ham and Crystal Palace had a decent season. So where exactly did the London teams disappoint? Eventually only Manchester United disappointed. But I guess they are paying the price for their haphazardous transfer markets.
@Fromhell I'm afraid you don't get the point. Look at the last 10 Premier League seasons. Some teams always disappoint. Last year all teams disappointed because City won with an advantage of 20 points. So what do you want?
First time in PL's history when achieving over 90 points isn't enough for the championship, that tells it all! The race will be tough next season for sure, but hopefully other top teams (or at least Tottenham) can emulate Liverpool and give City a proper challenge. Everton, Leicester co. should also improve to shorten a gap to top 6. This season was all about City and Liverpool, apart from them, many teams underachieved.
@Castle It will still be city & liverpool next seson. They both have very young superstars that get better every year. I have a feeling however that this was liverpools last chance to win it from city and next year not gonna be so close...
@k.1 You might be right, I don't see any reason why City wouldn't be even better next season and they're clear favorites for their third title. But with Ox coming back and Keita hopefully improving, I think Liverpool can add bit of a skill to their midfield which could keep them up with City. They're defense is excellent, but I think Klopp needs to trust more to Shaqiri and other not first team regulars or make couple of signings as City have much larger and and better squad. If I remember correctly, Spurs was just few points behind City in the middle point of the season. Tottenham are far behind these two, but if they can improve their midfield significantly, they might hold on at title race a while longer next season.
Congratulations to Liverpool. Best second placed team ever. You gave a good fight to City but they were just too good. At least you can still win the CL ...
2.55 points per game (97 points out of 38 games) and only 2nd. I don't think that happened before in any league ever. Hope they get the CL title, it's much more valuable anyway and sth. that City will never win.

@neumi17 You think the EPL title is worth more than the CL title? That's laughable at best. Every team would surely trade one or multiple league titles for a CL title because the latter one is for the ages.
Gundogan!!!! 4-1. Liverpool are a perennial second-best side at best. See if you can make sense of that sentence, you pathetic excuse for a club that couldn't win a domestic title if your life depended on it.
Thank you Liverpool for a great season, they really fought City until the end and in normal circumstances they'd deserve the title after perfect season. I assume City to win against Brighton and deservedly win the league but for Liverpool there's nothing to be shamed with that. Klopp's side have done incredible job and hopefully keep improving for the next season. Perhaps Gomez will play more regularly as CB and Oxlade-Chamberlain takes a place in midfield to make them even more dangerous offensively.
Karius is predicted to be MOTM for a very good reason, Wolves are coming here to attack like a... pack of hungry wolves. Expect at least 10 shots on target from Wolves.
I have mixed feelings about this match, but it depends a lot on the 7th position allowing Wolves to go to Europa League or not. I heard some people say that it does, other people say it doesn't, so I'm not sure...On the other hand, Liverpool qualified to the Champions League final and all the players are very happy and usually it helps bring the good results and makes it easier not to feel the tiredness, so there is a bigger chance that Liverpool will win the match, but Wolves are also a good team and it might not be that easy...If that 7th place story I mentioned earlier is true, this match's result can actually be a "surprise" and end Liverpool's hope of winning the league title...
@hellreaper depend on FA Cup winner.. if Manchester City win FA Cup, 7th place will go to europe next season because City already in Champion League next season..
@hellreaper It's a tough match to stay neutral towards. I want Liverpool to keep the fight and tension of the 1st place alive until 90 mins have passed, but I would be happier if Wolves won or got a draw. I think that Liverpool are f-ed on the 1st spot anyhow, so go Wolves! I predict a homewin though with +2 goals or more for Pool

Next Year Is Surely Our Year
@GioMonaldo Wait two years and you might have a chance of winning the Championship. Finally a title! Let's hope
@Fromhell LOL not like I give a fook about Liverpool but how tf would they get relegated with such a quality team?

I am a fan of both Guardiola and Klopp. Liverpool had a great season. Thank you for offering us so many great matches!

@k.1 The war of good football between these teams is just beginning, agreed
Cry me a river ~ Nevermind , Loserpool fans can hope for a PL title next season(NO) hahahha
@stefanm We'll just be waving 6 fingers at morons like you.
@stefanm Stupid and childish comment.
Congratulations to Liverpool. Best second placed team ever. You gave a good fight to City but they were just too good. At least you can still win the CL ...
@neumi17 no because fat pochettino will.

@stuckonautomatic Now wipe your tears and congratulate the (deserving) champions!
@GioMonaldo I'm not even a fan of English football so why would I do that?
@stuckonautomatic Bc they are champions and no one cares what you're a fan of. Champs deserve it.

@stuckonautomatic Wouldn't say that

ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ Allez, Allez, Allez. Allez, Allez, Allez

Laporte!!!!!!!! Golllll!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahhahahahaha
What a good season Liverpool, real crushed about those draws...
@offside now everyone knows how they play and next season they will be like 4th or 5th place.
@stefanm Liverpool have played the same way since Klopp came so you should definitely change your logic there...

Loris Karius Man of the Match?? Even Mo Salah 11.76%
Karius is predicted to be MOTM for a very good reason, Wolves are coming here to attack like a... pack of hungry wolves. Expect at least 10 shots on target from Wolves.
My gut says defeat for Liverpool, draw for city
@nekt u need to get that gut checked out PRONTO i think its about to sieze up its spewing so much skyte
@nekt your gut is absolutely right!

Liverpool will cry even if they win 10-0 (which they won't, but still) People still going with the Karius ""joke" ? I still don't get it
@Fromhell People still doubting Karius after such an amazing season? Liverpool are undefeated in their last 39 home matches!
