Leicester have opted against pursuing a deal for Inter outcast Christian Eriksen after baulking at his £300,000-a-week wages, claims The Daily Telegraph.
Eriksen's time at Inter has been a nightmare since he left Tottenham to join Antonio Conte's side 12 months ago.
Inter have transfer listed the Denmark international and are even willing to offload the 28-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season.
Eriksen has been linked with a return to Tottenham but Inter have made it clear any potential suitor will have to pay all of his wages.
Leicester are in the market for a new central midfielder with Dennis Praet sidelined for the foreseeable future but will go no further with their interest in Eriksen.
Brendan Rodgers' side were keen to hand Eriksen a route back to the Premier League but will not break their entire wage structure to do so.
Eriksen is Inter's lowest WhoScored rated player in Serie A this season of those to have started more than one game (6.34).
