Cech wins the Golden Glove

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has won the Golden Glove in the Premier League for the fourth time in his career after ending the campaign with the most clean sheets.

Cech, 33, had been level with four other goalkeepers prior to the last round of games but finished as the only one to keep a clean sheet and take his tally to 15 for the campaign.

The former Chelsea goalkeeper would have been forced to share the honour with Manchester United shot stopper David De Gea but the Spain international was denied the award when Chris Smalling scored an own goal in stoppage time in a 3-1 win over Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

In doing so, Cech becomes the first goalkeeper in Premier League history to win the award with two different clubs having managed the feat three times with Chelsea.
