- Rangers boss Philippe Clement made three changes from the Gers scraping past Hibs at home with a 1-0 win at Ibrox, before they were humbled at home by Lyon as the French outfit won 4-1 in their Europa League meeting on Thursday.
- Jack Butland continued in goal behind a back four of James Tavernier, John Souttar, Robin Pröpper and Jefte. Mohamed Diomande replaced Nicolas Raskin in midfield, to accompany Connor Barron.
- Tom Lawrence netted a stunning winner against the Hibees and kept his place. He was joined by Nedim Bajrami, who took Ross McCausland's spot, and Vaclav Cerny in support of lone striker Cyriel Dessers, as opposed to Hamza Igamane.
- Interim St Johnstone manager Andy Kirk made just one change after a crazy 3-3 draw in Dingwall away to Ross County, before Saints were swept aside 6-0 by Celtic at McDiarmid Park last Saturday evening.
- Ross Sinclair continued in goal behind a back three of Kyle Cameron, Lewis Neilson and Jack Sanders. Andre Raymond and Drey Wright continued at left wing-back and right wing-back respectively.
- Sven Sprangler and Matt Smith remained in the middle of the park, joined by Graham Carey as opposed to Jason Holt. Nicky Clark was joined in attack by Makenzie Kirk, as the suspended Benji Kimpioka and Adama Sidibeh continued to miss out.
