Team News

Derby
Middlesbrough
  • Paul Warne will likely opt for the same starting XI that faced Blackburn when his side takes on Middlesbrough this weekend, despite watching his side lose 4-2 on the opening weekend.
  • Striker Jerry Yates will serve the final instalment of a three-match suspension, while two players are sidelined through injury.
  • Expect to see the same starting XI that faced Swansea on the opening weekend with the only change being the introduction of club captain Jonny Howson.
  • Centre-back Dael Fry has an outside chance of featuring here, while three players have been ruled out.

Prediction

  • Derby's return to the Championship wasn't marked with a memorable performance.
  • The Rams were hammered 4-2 by Blackburn on the opening day, although a narrow 2-1 home win against Chesterfield in the Carabao Cup means that the hosts are at least off the mark this season. More summer recruitment will be necessary to ease relegation fears for Paul Warne's side.
  • Middlesbrough headed into the new campaign with plenty of momentum and they made it count.
  • The Teessiders closed out a narrow 1-0 home win against Swansea last weekend before hammering Leeds 3-0 away from home in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

  • derby 1 up

  • Emmanuel Latte Lath TSA +187

  • yes i like the away win here. i think boro will be too strong for Derby, home advantage for first game of the season makes it a bit tighet but a 1-3 away win is my prediction 2.10 is a bet to be taken

  • Communication looks non existent at Derby and an organised Boro should give them a beating. 1-2 away win
