Team News

Arsenal
Tottenham
  • Arsenal have issues in attack with Gabriel Jesus joining Ethan Nwaneri and Bukayo Saka on the sidelines at the weekend.
  • Defenders Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are also absent due to injury.
  • Tottenham suffered no fresh injury issues in their FA Cup win over Tamworth, with Mikey Moore returning to action for the 3-0 win.
  • Fraser Forster is a doubt due to illness, while seven players are missing through injury.
  • Richarlison is back in training and has a chance of making the matchday squad.

Prediction

  • Arsenal have failed to win their last three matches following their penalty shootout FA Cup loss to Manchester United on Sunday evening. They have now lost back-to-back home games, but are unbeaten in the league at the Emirates this season.
  • Tottenham were taken to extra time by Tamworth on Sunday but managed to secure their place in the next round of the FA Cup. Spurs have won back-to-back matches, which is a boost following a four-game winless run.
  • Arsenal's issues, particularly down their right side, could impact their chances of claiming all the spoils with a repeat of last season's 2-2 draw a possibility.

  • Arsenal drew this fixture last season and those two dropped points cost them the league so they should be eager to make up for it this season.

  • Arsenal front line is so A S S , hate to say it but Spurs double chance

  • If Arsenal were to put this predicted line up, then they should beat Spurs without any fuss. However, Arteta never goes with the strongest available line up nor put players on the correct positions. I expect Partey at right back, Timber left, one between Odegard and Rice on the bench, Trossard. I expect him to make a mess out of things yet again. The only piece of history on the side of Arsenal is that they are in bad shape and bad form which is usually a good thing when heading to the derby.

  • Arsenal Win .

  • over 1.5 first half goals

  • Tottenham all the way! Don't gift an easy win to the "Banter Club".
