Team News

Chelsea
Crystal Palace
  • Romeo Lavia will be assessed for the home side, who remain without Reece James for Sunday's welcome of Crystal Palace.
  • Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell are expected to leave the club before the transfer deadline.
  • Pedro Neto may make his first league start for the Blues against the Eagles.
  • Chadi Riad joins Matheus Franca on the sidelines for Sunday's trip to Chelsea.
  • Marc Guehi will start here after Crystal Palace successfully rebuffed interest in the England international's services this summer.
  • Maxence Lacroix is all but set to sign from Wolfsburg.

Prediction

  • Chelsea scraped into the Conference League on Thursday night, but they were given a scare by Servette as they earned a 3-2 aggregate win. Enzo Maresca will hope for a repeat of last week's 6-2 win at Wolves here.
  • Crystal Palace claimed their first win of the season in midweek as they smashed Norwich 4-0 in the EFL Cup. The Eagles have lost their last 14 games at Stamford Bridge.
  • That winning run may continue on Sunday afternoon as Chelsea look to earn three points before the international break.

  • I wonder, this there a specific reason why odds are so high for the home win? CP kinda started badly, Chelsea has a good record against them, and they also put in a very strong performance against Wolves last week. Everything kinda points towards them being an overwhelming favourites.

  • @DanInter the same i wonder and i , 1,60 mabe is a present if done..

  • Cole Palmer TSA +125

  • 4-1

  • @Chipleader88 Only if they had Drogba, Lampard, Essien etc etc

  • I can't even remember the last time Chelsea failed to beat Palace and thus will be no different. Easy win for Chelsea.
