Team News

L.A. Galaxy
Seattle
  • Jalen Neal is out for at least six weeks with an abdominal injury.
  • Joao Paulo is out with a left hip injury.
  • Reed Baker-Whiting is out for a couple of weeks with a minor knock.
  • Braudillo Rodrigues is out with a right hamstring injury.
  • Pedro de la Vega is out for 6-8 weeks with a hamstring injury.

  • Obed Vargas is questionable as he is going through concussion protocol. He hopes to be cleared by the weekend.

Prediction

  • Two teams on different trajectories as LA looks to continue its hot start to the season. Add a comeback victory to the checklist, as the Galaxy came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against Sporting KC on the road. The Galaxy are now undefeated through five matches and looks like one of the best attacks in MLS.
  • Seattle, on the other hand, has been struggling with tons of key injuries. The latest is Leo Chu, who is now out. The good news is they should have Albert Rusnak back in the starting lineup and are getting closer to several other guys like Joao Paulo and Pedro de la Vega. A tough test heading to Carson, and Seattle would be happy with a draw.
