@redyrun England can certainly be obnoxious when they win but they do at least acknowledge it when they lose. In fact, the English fans and English news is prone to wallowing in defeat to the point of becoming toxic (and boring). By contrast, when Australia lose the football or rugby the sports news pretends it didn't happen and instead shows a segment about netball, lacrosse, fencing... or beer pong. It's hilarious.
I've derided women's football forever but this English team is giving me as much, and probably more, emotion and pride than the men ever have.

@Quest I don't actually care whether England win (I'm Welsh ) but I also lived in Australia for 5 years so know how the Ozzie sports news behaves.
