- Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers named two changes to the Celts side that fell to a rare 2-0 defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle, before they booked their place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals with a late 4-2 victory over Livingston on Sunday.
- Stephen Welsh took Cameron Carter-Vickers' place in the Hoops' back four to join Alistair Johnston, Liam Scales and Greg Taylor. Club captain Callum McGregor won't be back until after the international break at the earliest.
- That meant Paulo Bernardo, Tomoki Iwata and Matt O'Riley remained in midfield. Nicholas Kühn replaced the suspended Hyun-Jun Yang to join Adam Idah and hat-trick hero Daizen Maeda who marked his 100th Celtic appearance in style.
- St Johnstone boss Craig Levein named an unchanged Saints side that claimed a massive 2-0 win against Aberdeen at Pittodrie, before they were held at home in their last league match in a 1-1 draw with basement boys Livingston.
- Dimitar Mitov continued in goal with David Keltjens, Ryan McGowan, Liam Gordon and Luke Robinson chosen as the back four. Sven Sprangler and Daniel Phillips sat in front of the Saints backline with Matt Smith a wee bit further forward.
- Diallang Jaiyesimi, Benjamin Kimpioka and Nicky Clark - who fired Saints level against Livi late on - were selected as the front three. There was a welcome return for Adama Sidibeh who was sat amongst the substitutes.
