- Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers named two changes to the Celts side that signed off in Europe with a 2-1 win against Feyenoord, before a shock defeat at home to Hearts where they lost 2-0 at Celtic Park on Saturday.
- Cameron Carter-Vickers returned to the centre of the Celts defence, to accompany Liam Scales at the back. Greg Taylor remained at left-back, with Alastair Johnston being given the nod once more at right-back.
- David Turnbull replaced Tomoki Iwata to join club captain Callum McGregor and Matt O'Riley in midfield. Luis Palma and Mikey Johnston continued to support Kyogo Furuhashi in attack.
- Davie Martindale named just one change to the Livingston team after the Lions were held at home by Kilmarnock in a 0-0 stalemate, before they fell to a defeat up north away to Aberdeen 2-1 on Wednesday night.
- Ayo Obileye, Michael Nottingham and Mikey Devlin continued to make up the Lions' back three. Jamie Brandon replaced Sean Kelly, as he joined Jason Holt, Andrew Shinnie and James Penrice in midfield.
- Joel Nouble joined Scott Pittman who stayed further in front, supporting lone striker Kurtis Guthrie. The 30-year-old forward ended Livi's goal drought, with their first league goal in just under two months.
