- Rangers manager Philippe Clement named two changes from the Gers team that registered a 2-0 success against St Mirren on Sunday at Ibrox, before a sole-goal victory at Tynecastle in their midweek match against Hearts on Wednesday night.
- Borna Barisic was omitted from the matchday squad, as Ridvan Yilmaz took his spot at left-back. Club captain James Tavernier continued at right-back, with Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun the preferred defensive duo at present.
- The only other alteration saw Danilo replace Cyriel Dessers in attack. He was supported by the midweek matchwinner Abdallah Sima, who has scored three goals in his last two games, Ross McCausland and Todd Cantwell.
- Dundee boss Tony Docherty named one enforced change to the Dee team after that fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Hibs at Dens Park, before a crazy 3-3 draw against Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday.
- Jordan McGhee stayed at right wing-back, with Owen Beck at left wing-back as the Dee persisted with a back three. The only alteration was Ricki Lamie, ineligible to play against his parent club, making way for Aaron Donnelly in the Dee defence.
- Malachi Boateng kept his place alongside Lyall Cameron and Luke McCowan in the midfield trio. Zak Rudden continued to partner Amadou Bakayoko in attack, but Zach Robinson is scoring goals off the bench so may be handed a start soon.
