  • Pickford - 2 critical errors, score - 6.9 )))))

  • In the end, credit to Grealish and Rodri in the 2nd half for bringing some dynamic progression, but it’s remarkable how borderline unwatchable City are for such a high output team

  • Got lucky.

  • Where were all of you complaing about passing backwards, that's Pep bread and butter, keep the ball and wait the moment to create space, this is on all interviews since 2016. And the team is playing without KDB that was the assist king almost on every PL

  • @Alcimario1 passing backwards as a means of control is very different to just passing backwards because nobody wants to go forward....look at the second half...totally different....

  • @AramisMick That's not how Guardiola sees the game, City aint Real Madrid, City takes times in possession with the ball, that how they won 5 PL out of 7, that's how they won the treble. Just watch some games of the past season

  • @Alcimario1 It works when teams are passive and/or tired and/or lack 1v1 quality, but it is the most boring style of football I've ever had the misfortune of watching in my life.

  • @sarigginsUSA That's how they won the treble, you guys are pissed because they arent winning the games

  • What is Onana supposed to do there? Not exist?

  • yup...as I feared...reverted to an insistent to pass backwards at all cost...city loves to square the ball for oppositions in their own box...almost daring them to pick it up and score....will be lucky if they can draw this match...

  • @AramisMick That's Guardiola bread and butter, you are all complaining because the team isn't winning

  • City can't score if they play like this.. only safe pass backwards.. no takeons.. no through balls. No accurate crosses.. staring down next defeat

  • @Mdy They can, they play like this since Guardiola arrived, that's Pepe bread and butter

  • Once again City proving that when teams don't lie down pronebone, they have absolutely nothing to respond with and are utterly impotent without De Bruyne.

  • @sarigginsUSA If you check the previous games and seasons without Kevin, you can be surprised that they managed very good without him, sometimes even better, when having him on the pitch.

  • No goal

  • Haaland and Doku failed late fitness tests.

  • Pep will play min6 defenders if rodri isn't fit

  • Everton have been in great form and may cause MC problems especially If Haaland and Doku do not play.

  • @Marbella according to my sources , Haaland never took part in training on Boxing day, so, seems unlikely he returns to the team today at Goodison Park.....Dpku is a bench also I'm liking a Draw for this match.

  • Less than 2.5 goals, 1-1.

  • DRAW

  • Haaland and his fellow injury victim Jeremy Doku trained individually in Saudi Arabia and will have late fitness tests before the Everton game.

  • @Marbella Yes....slight concerns with injuries to key players....Rodri, KDB, Doku and the Robot...hopefully at least one of them can get on the field....no team can be unaffected by missing players of their calibre let alone all of them at once....Silva, Foden and Alvarez must be at their best to cover...lol, and if Phillips still don't start (please, just no, Pep),he should just move on...

  • @AramisMick - I assume "The Robot" is a compliment for the best player in the world?

  • Didn't care for the cwc pot, but very happy to see city wake up...those 2 matches saw more urgency, attack intent and effort to close down....if they continue like that, Everton will be in for a shock 3,4,5 goals hiding...if city revert to their pre-cwc style, then it'll be a draw or even home win......depends on which one makes Pep feel more alive, I guess...

  • Gvardiol as left-back is the Pep genius way to guarantee us BTS :)

  • @koziol.mutant I think the problem lies with Grealish....Gvardiol plays normally when Doku plays...With silly Jack, the LB often is the player furthest up the field due to Jack only showboating without moving the ball forward.....

  • @AramisMick Gvardiol is the worst signing in recent years. Jack has nothing to do with Croatian inaccurate passes, or that he is being dispossessed and very often opponents dribble him easily.
