Team News

Sheff Utd
Arsenal
  • The hosts look set to remain without at least seven players for the welcome of Arsenal.
  • Mason Holgate remains suspended after seeing red against Brighton two weeks ago.
  • Jurrien Timber returned to full training for Arsenal this week, but this match will come too soon for the Dutchman.
  • Oleksandr Zinchenko, Thomas Partey and Takehiro Tomiyasu will all be assessed, but could return to the squad here.

Prediction

  • Sheffield United followed up their 5-0 home defeat with a less embarrassing 1-0 loss at Wolves last weekend.
  • The Blades have conceded five goals in their last three home matches.
  • Arsenal made it six league victories in a row when they put four past Newcastle at the Emirates last time out.
  • The Gunners' away form will be ominous for the hosts, with Mikel Arteta's side having scored 11 goals in their last two matches on the road, while conceding none.
  • The visitors should seal a comfortable victory here.

  • Where are all the idiots that keep telling us Arsenal are rubbish? We don't seem to have seen them for a few weeks. Maybe they have exams to get into big school soon.......or maybe they just talk nonsense because they were never clever enough to make it as far as big school lmao. One things for sure...they are very, very quite :-)

  • After this game, Sheffield are, by goals conceded per game, on track to concede 100 goals by the end of the season. They've conceded just 2 fewer than last placed Southampton did in the entirety of last season.

  • First time I watch Sheffield Utd with some attention. They're just a joke team.

  • This Sheffield United team is pathetic
