Team News

Arsenal
Fulham
  • Mohamed Elneny and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines, while Oleksandar Zinchenko, Folarin Balogun and Albert Sambi Lokonga face late fitness tests.
  • With Jurrien Timber looking set to be out for almost all of the season, Arsenal's full-back issues went from bad to worse against Crystal Palace when Takehiro Tomiyasu was sent off.
  • The Premier League's top tackler from 2022/23, Joao Palhinha, could return this week after recovering from a shoulder injury.
  • Tim Ream received his marching orders in the 3-0 defeat to Brentford and will have to sit out whilst he serves his suspension.
  • Aleksandar Mitrovic has an ankle injury which will keep him out here and we can expect Raul Jiminez to lead the line once more.

Prediction

  • Arsenal remain unbeaten in the Premier League with two win from two for Arteta's men so far.
  • The Gunners squeezed past Crystal Palace on Monday night thanks to a Martin Odegaard penalty in the 54th minute. They did have to play the last 23 minutes with 10-men though and Arteta's side showed some resilience to withstand Palace's attack.
  • Fulham were easily beaten by Brentford in their last fixture, losing 3-0 at Craven Cottage. They did, however, get their campaign off on the right foot with a victory over Everton on the opening day.
  • Arsenal have won five of the last six against Fulham in the Premier league by a minimum of a three-goal cushion.
