Team News

Borussia Dortmund
RBL
  • Mahmoud Dahoud is available after suspension, but Nico Schulz and Felix Passlach will be out for several weeks with muscle injuries.
  • Marco Reus is expected to return, but Gio Reyna will get back late on Thursday evening from international duty. "There's a big question mark" over Erling Haaland according to coach Marco Rose. If Haaland is ruled out, it would be the 17th game this season the much-coveted striker has missed through injury.
  • Steffen Tigges has broken his ankle and will miss the rest of the season.
  • Mateu Morey remains on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, and former skipper Marcel Schmelzer continues his comeback from a knee injury.
  • Yussuf Poulsen suffered a muscle injury playing for Denmark and is ruled out, while goalie Péter Gulácsi had to leave international duty for Hungary with an adductor injury.
  • Tyler Adams is over his back injury, while German international Marcel Halstenberg made his return from a knee injury before the international break.
  • Lukas Klostermann is nearing a return from a muscle injury.

Prediction

  • After a 1-1 draw with Koln, Borussia Dortmund lag six points behind Bayern with seven games remaining with their title hopes probably gone for another year.
  • RB Leipzig have already suffered eight league defeats, one more than during the whole of last season, but are the best team in 2022 with 23 points in 10 games, with a goal difference of 27:8, Leipzig's only defeat coming against the champions Bayern.
  • Dortmund have failed to score only once in their last 59 Bundesliga games and with the fit-again Erling Haaland goals can be expected at both ends in front of a sell-out crowd of 81,365 fans.

  • Nkunku getting increasingly expensive. I hope he doesn't make the same mistake as Naby Keïta rotting on the bench in EPL.

  • @BeautifulLoser Keita has never been able to stay fit for long since joining Liverpool so far, But When he has been fit, he plays quite often

  • Marc bartra, Thomas meunier, witzel, can, thorgan, brandt, schulz,pongracic..... ............. These are the Endless list of trash players signed by BVB

  • @nithinbvb absent the hyperbole...and in fairness. Meunier was decent when signed from PSG. Thorgan and Brandt were bright prospects at the time of being signed. You act like it was clear for the world to see that these players would underperform. Also, you act like BVB are missing out on a CL spot or threatened with relegation, they're second in the Bundi. Yes this loss was bad but relax man. Witsel has more than done his part since joining also.

  • @nithinbvb they want to develop them and make them get market value then sell thats why they sign raw players

  • @axelxyz lol... I'm not talking about young players..majority of these players already rejected by clubs.

  • @axelxyz Did you read the list ? Witsel, Meunier, Schulz, Brandt, Hazard, Can, Passlack, ... are not young players to be developed, they are just bad players.

  • @nithinbvb The list can go on endlessly ...

  • Anyway the Clown watzke will keep rose for another year...

  • @nithinbvb He doesn't care. Watzke runs a public company and as long as the dividend is right, everyone is happy.

  • 2 errors from Can and 2 goals for RB i love BvB
