Team News

Southampton
Leeds
  • Jan Bednarek remains a doubt for Southampton after missing their 3-1 win over Fulham at the weekend through injury.
  • Danny Ings, who has been tipped as a target for Manchester City this summer, could be recalled here.
  • Nathan Tella scored his first ever Premier League goal at the weekend and then followed that up with an assist. He may also start on Tuesday night.
  • Moussa Djenepo and Theo Walcott are options on the wing if Ralph Hasenhuttl freshens things up.
  • Rodrigo will push to start this one after scoring a brace from the bench in Leeds' 4-0 win away to Burnley at the weekend.
  • Liam Cooper could also return to the starting XI after only making the bench against Burnley.
  • Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed Robin Koch and Mateusz Klich will be given the final two games off so they can be fully fit for Euro 2020. Neither are injured.
  • Pablo Hernandez will be assessed but should at least make the squad here.

Prediction

  • Southampton beat Fulham 3-1 and Leeds thrashed Burnley 4-0 at the weekend. Both have now won back-to-back games.
  • Leeds won the reverse fixture 3-0 back in February and you have to favour Marcelo Biela's side here again.

  • Less than two goals

  • Think Leeds will have to much for the Saints. Although the Saints will want to finish their home games with a win in front of their returning Fans. This is going to be open. The Saints like to Press and with the home fans back roaring them on they will want to put on a show. but that will play right into Leeds United hands. they love a open game as they only know one way and that's attack. They struggle to break down defensive minded teams but ooze class in an Attacking game with all the space on show. Expecting another game of goals like Burnley and a pretty similar score. Saints 1 Leeds 3.
