- Jack Wilshere is out for the season after breaking his leg during Bournemouth's 4-0 defeat to Tottenham last weekend. With Dan Gosling and Andrew Surman still doubtful, Lewis Cook may make his first Premier League start since August this weekend.
- Ryan Fraser, Marc Pugh, Jordon Ibe and Junior Stanislas will all be vying for starts in wide areas this weekend as Eddie Howe looks to arrest their slump in form.
- Steve Agnew welcomes Calum Chambers back to the team after he missed their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal on Monday due to the terms in his loan agreement from the Gunners.
- Gaston Ramirez and George Friend also made their returns and the latter should start against Bournemouth after Fabio was forced off against Arsenal with a suspected knee injury. He remains a doubt along with Rudy Gestede.
- Grant Leadbitter will miss out for the away side after suffering a hamstring injury in Monday's loss, while Victor Valdes is still with a rib injury that ruled him out of the match against Arsenal.
